I would love to see the old smilies but if that’s not possible, we should at least get rid of the smilies that no longer match: putz; smack; dubious; HOJM. Or maybe remake dubious and smack so they do match. The other two (jew, putz) can go, IMO.
Well, how were the dubious and Wally smileys imported? Certainly, if it’s not too much effort, they could be added in manually? Mind, I don’t know how much trouble it would be.
And, yeah, that new grin-smiley is just way too toothy.
I will say that I feel the surprised smiley to be vastly improved.

No, no, no. We keep dubious and smack, not the putz smiley. Other than that, I have nothing of value to add to this post wrt the effort involved in importing smilies, changing them to the new pastel motif or, really, any kind of graphic work. I’m just here to criticize, apparently.
