The Nothing Post

White Lightning, I think I’ll have a margarita. Preferably one with a bit of zing to it… any way you could add spice to it?

And I think we need more party food, so I also brought in a huge tub full of cookies, chips, pretzels, sushi, desserts, etc. Plus of course the requistie condiments: salsa (both the regular kind and the cheese kind), sauces, relish, mustard, ketchup, wasabi, etc. (hey, some of us like to dip our sushi in cheese, to name one combination I tried last year and quite liked)

So this should be the makings of a great party! (now, if only I had access to my brother’s CD collection, which easily tops mine, and probably has better CDs, too…)

I’ll have a margarita too, White Lightning. Plenty tequila, no ice. And a tiny parasol would be grand.

Who’s up for a party game? We could play charades. Or relive our adolescence with a little spin-the-bottle.

Thanks for the drink, White Lightning, it was lovely. I think I’ll skip the car bomb, though - sad waste of good Bailey’s, if you ask me!

Though, speaking of Car Bombs, who won that sub? flutters eyelashes Cos I’m female, and I’d sure love a frozen daiquiri right about now…
Oh, and Flamsterette_X, I’ve got a couple of packs of TimTams in my pantry, you want me to bring them as well?

You know what, I’ll make up some pitchers of both daquiris and margaritas. That’s just the kind of guy I am.

Flamsterette_X, how could I suggest anything other than Everclear. Throw on some Sparkle And Fade, baby! I’d post my list of CDs but I’d be here all night. I think I passed up 500 at last count. But for right now, I don’t think I could do better than Everclear. As for your margarita – zing – hmm. You want spice like spicy? I’ve got some Tabasco here, don’t know if that’s quite what you’re looking for. I could throw some Sour Mix in there when I blend in the ice, might taste alright with the lime.

madonnaman, here’s yours, without the ice. I didn’t skimp on the tequila, as requested – as if I’d make it any other way.

tritone, why don’t I put it this way – here’s a daiquiri for you (strawberry alright, I hope? Whipped cream’s on top – there’s more if you need it).

I’d say this party is officially underway! Great job on the snacks, Flamsterette_X! Hope you have some spam rolls in there.

Spin the bottle – Best. Suggestion. Ever. Who’ll start?

OK, White Lightning, I’ll have a Jack Daniels and Coke. Spin the bottle sounds like a winner.
Hey ozonebaby; you started a cool thread. Whatcha’ drinkin’, Hon?

Tabasco sauce is an awesome idea, White Lightning… that, or insanity sauce. Who knows if that will go well with the drink, so tabasco sauce it is. As for spam rolls, I’ve never heard of the things… I do have ssusage rolls, though. (not the same thing, I know, but maybe someone else has some)

tritone, the more (snacks, people, music, fun times, etc.), the merrier! So go ahead and bring your TimTams… though I’ve never heard of those before, either!

JD and Coke for the big guy! John Carter of Mars, good one! Way to get this bar back on track… we’ve been getting pretty froofy recently. I salute you.

Flamsterette_X, well… if you say so. Margarita with Tabasco… coming up.

White Lightning, strawberry is fab, and whipped cream is always a good thing.
flutters eyelashes some more

Flamsterette_X, TimTams are an Australian thing, the yummiest chocolate biscuits on the face of the planet. A party ain’t a party without TimTams!

Ok, so everyone get in a circle… who wants to spin first??

Alright, who farted?

I don’t want to be boring so I’ll have a mixture of every kind of soft drink you got. I’m not up for anything alcoholic.

chants Everclear, Everclear, Everclear! :b

Thanks, White Lightning. I agree that the drinks being requested here are indeed getting on the froofy side. I’ll have a refill on the Jack Daniels and Coke, please, and a bottle of Everclear (Everclear ???) for the lady.

(for some reason, it strikes me as laugh-out-loud funny that he considers a few of my CDs his, but it doesn’t matter to me)

(yes, we have a few of the same CDs, but the more the merrier!)

Neil Young rocks! Tell your brother I said that even if he sees Scott, don’t give back Mirror Ball!

WEIll do, White Lightning! Actually, I don’t think he’s seen Scott in some time, so it’s my brother’s CD now!

Man! What a pile of music we’ve got available here. Turn the cd player up, Flamsterette_X, and put on somethin’ we can all dance to. The way White Lightning is makin’ those drinks, this party is gonna’ rock.
Anybody seen ozonebaby ? I’ve been standin’ here holdin’ this bottle of Everclear for her for a while now…

Ha ha, John Carter of Mars. :stuck_out_tongue: takes the drink from him Instead, I’d rather listen to the Goo Goo Dolls.

Hey, White Lightning

is this your house, man?

Oh…cuz…um…I think there’s some kinda…um…crisis going on in the bathroom that somebody might wanna keep an eye on…

So…you know…just…um…FYI…

Actually, neofishboy, it’s Anubis’s house. . . but don’t tell anyone that! :p;)

Hey neofishboy, I wouldn’t worry too much about that stuff goin’ on in the bathroom. That’s just tritone.
There’s lots of great uses for strawberries and whipped cream; the whipped cream in particular, but mix ‘em with your drink? Then all those chocolate TimTams too? Hey, there’s gonna’ be a problem, right? Don’t be too concerned, she’ll soon get rid of all those extra sweets and come out ready to party. It’s not like she drank too much alcohol or somethin’.
Goo Goo girls, ozonebaby? I don’t see one of their CD’s in that collection of Flamsterette_X’s. How about settling for one of tritone’s left over Goo Goo Clusters? (She won’t want one any time soon) We need to get the dancin’ part of this gathering off to a rockin’ start! Whatcha’ gonna’ play, Flamsterette_X?

What’s 99 times nothing?
