So Michael is really dating the real estate woman, right? How did that happen? I mean, I’ve seen the Casino Night episode and all, but now they’re together?
I wonder how many seasons they can do this show. After all, it’s supposed to be a documentary. How many years would the documentary team film them for anyway?
But she said something like “I think so” or “I think I do” which could lead you to think she was expressing some attraction for him. Or not, I guess.
It is cool he has found a kindred spirit at Stamford.
FYI, and it’s probably not relevant, but the real estate agent (can’t remember the character’s name) is Steve Carell’s wife in real life.
I seem to remember him saying something to the effect of, “I’ve seen her 4 times…in the past 6 months”, and he mentioned her son by name, but couldn’t remember her daughter’s name.
The implication is that he is doing his normal thing - wildly exaggerating to either make himself look good, or willfully deceiving himself.
No, I swear I remember him saying something about how he had SEX with her (his emphasis, not mine) to Jan in an earlier episode.
My apologies. What I said above came from the deleted scenes on the NBC website. I guess that doesn’t count as canon.
He did tell Jan that he had sex with her, but he went around telling people he slept with Jan, too, before admitting that he only got to second base.
Hmm… poor Michael. I thought he’d actually gotten a girl this time.
“Michael always says, K-I-S-S. Keep It Simple Stupid. Great advice, and it hurts my feelings every time.”
I love this show.
He told Jan he had sex with her in this episode, too. At the beginning, when she’s asking him to account for how he’d spent the previous day, he ends his list by saying he had sex with his girlfriend. That’s when Jan gets mad and tells Pam to log his activities for the day.
That’s really sad.
I thought the episode was funny, but I thought the Dwight/Ryan stuff was too much. I guess I was wondering when we’d get to see the beet farm, but I think it’s funnier to just know that Dwight lives on one than to actually see it.
Tangential topic, but: has anyone here ever been served a boilermaker with anything other than a mug (ie handled glass) of beer. I’ve seen Carbombs and Jaeger Bombs mentioned in this thread, and in my experience Carbombs are served in those curvy Guiness glasses, and Jager bombs are in the typical pint glasses or tumblers.
I’ve had a boilermaker from a regular pint glass. However, I’m pretty sure that’s because the shitty little bar I was at had nothing but pint glasses.
I can’t remember how we know this, but Roy’s last name is Anderson. I think we saw it on an invitation last season. Yes, our favorite receptionist’s name was almost Pam Anderson. Michael would have enjoyed it.
Also, Steve Carrell’s wife (who plays Carol the real estate agent) is Nancy Walls.
When this season started and they were kissing, Jim said something like, “You don’t know how long I’ve wanted to do that” and I think that Pam said, “Me, too.” Then he kissed her again, and** that’s** when she pulled away and rejected him again.
At least that’s how I remember it. maybe someone who has it recorded can confirm or refute.
I can confirm that’s how it went. There’s clips from Season 3 thus far up on YouTube. I don’t think they’re there kosherly, so I won’t link, but if you search YouTube for “The Office Gay Witch Hunt,” you’ll get it.
This is how the scene went down:
Pam and Jim kiss.
Jim: You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that.
Pam: Me too. pause I think we’re just drunk.
Jim: I’m not drunk. Are you drunk?
Pam: No.
Jim leans in for another kissy-poo; Pam pulls back
Pam: Jim–
Jim: You’re really gonna marry him?
Pam nods
Jim: Okay
