The Office 11/13 (spoilers)

I think this is it.

I didn’t think of that.

I thought that they had sex then she kicked him out. You know, she wanted to skip the cuddling part.

No way! It’s got to end up as a showdown at the wedding at Shrute Beet Farm!

I LOVED Oscar and the phone call.

I think that they touched on it in that AV write up, but could it be possible that Andy is gay? The way he described Oscar as “delightful”, and mentioning that he had to come all the way to Canada to realize how cool Oscar was. That could certainly throw an interesting wrench into the whole Andy-Dwight-Angela thing.

And when Darryl is free! And dancing on the way to his truck. I felt very happy for him.

You could be right about that, for sure. The only thing that makes me think otherwise is that Angela and Dwight are becoming sloppier and seemed to care less if anyone finds out about them as time goes on.

…and he tried to buy those two guys drinks “for Oscar.”

I thought it was a good one and I might be too easily amused but I am glad Pam is back from NYC.

Don’t know whether he slept with her or not but the concierge definitely kicked Michael out. She said she was “very tired.”

Andy’s phone call was hilarious!

Damn.
Every single episode there seems to be one line that is mumbled by a character and no matter how loud I turn up the volume or how many time I replay it I can’t figure out what was said.

This week it was Kelli attacking Ryan on top of her desk. She mumbled something while they started making out.
Any ideas???

Loved Ryan’s last line when he realized “for some reason I can’t do better than Kelly”
and the fact Kelly took that as a compliment.

That was the most human I’ve seen Oscar… loved him goading Andy to call.
Andy’s reaction when he discovered the call was not a dream was also priceless, in fact he pulled some very funny faces and odd sounds that cracked me up.

Poor Andy is in for a huge fall.

“What are we doing? This is so wrong.”

I’m assuming Michael and Clemmie had sex. Didn’t he say something like “Do you want to have breakfast?” before she tossed him out?

And his description of the company showing him “respect” was classic Michael. No, David Wallace does not respect you. David Wallace respects your ability to visit a client about to leave and sign him to a 2 year contract. He’d happily replace you with someone with the same ability, who doesn’t give him nearly as many HR headaches.

And I was completely fooled by Pam’s line “My battery’s dying, I have to let you go.” Not “I have to hang up.” or “I have to go”, but “I have to let you go.” I thought for sure they were done by the end of the episode.

At first I thought that perhaps Michael suffered an incident of erectile dysfunction. But then, when he was complaining to Wallace about not having his needs met, I guessed that maybe she kicked him out right after she got her needs met, if you know what I mean.

I disagree here. Michael made sense in that he was honestly describing his feelings. But, from the company’s view, it’s poison to have the branch’s sole H.R. rep dating the regional manager. It makes absolutely no sense and transferring Holly is one of the few sensible things Dunder-Mifflin has done with regard to Michael’s shenanigans.

When did Ryan get moved from the receptionist position? Wasn’t he talking to Kelly about him being moved to her area before we knew that Pam was coming back?

Watching the episode over again.

Oscar: “I’m probably going to leave after one drink”
Andy: “Yeah - with a hot slab of Canadian bacon in your hand.”

I don’t think Andy’s gay, but Cowboy8467 is right when he says that would be an interesting wrench to throw into situation

The whole office was anticipating Pam’s return in 6 1/2 days.

Oh, okay. Thanks. But then it seemed like she wasn’t coming back, but then, surprise! she DID come back. That’s what I’d forgotten.

Kelly + Ryan… WTF!!!

I mean, I know that kind of thing is what their characters do… but still… I found myself screaming “No no no no no NO!!!” at the TV in horror. Kelly and Ryan are the kind of funny that’s cringe-inducing… which is my least favorite kind of funny. It only works so many times before it gets annoying. Looooove Daryl’s coolness though!

I also found it perfect the way that tipsy Oscar goaded Andy into making the call, then realizing he was actually doing it, told him semi-seriously that he shouldn’t… then cracking up in laughter because he knew it was going to be tragic but also something that needed to be done. Exactly how drunk phone calls encouraged by your buddies go, as far as real life experiences is concerned.

I also liked the opening gag “You are now sexy in your culture”

I know–I mean, Ryan has turned into a total douche, but still, I hated to see him fall back into that nightmare. Funny as hell when he realized that Daryl wasn’t going to fight for her, though. He only wanted her when he couldn’t have her. I was confused by Daryl’s reaction at first, but then realized he knew she was going to be totally impossible to break up with, and Ryan did him a huge favor. snort

That’s what makes Daryl so cool! I mean, he knew Kelly was crazy but he’s not emotionally needy or insecure like Ryan is. I think there was a scene from the beginning of Kelly and Daryl hooking up where Kelly was showing her crazy and harping on Daryl spending time with his daughter and he basically told her to take a chill pill and keep her crazy under control… at least around him. Daryl was actually GOOD for Kelly and her insecurity because he’s so aloof! Ah… but now he’s a free man and he couldn’t care less. It just shows that he is everything that Ryan is not.
