I thought it was pretty petty of Pam and Jim to be threatened/bothered by Roy’s success.
Sure… but it was also totally realistic and understandable. Jim and Pam are usually the good guy audience surrogates, I think it’s good that they do have their own flaws.
Roy invited Vance and Phyllis was his date.
Roy had turned it around at the end and realized that he had been a dick. When Pam was in NY at art school, Jim ran into him at a bar and Roy was very gracious. I love that he ended up being a success and that it took Pam dumping him to make it happen.
