I was just watching the “Back from Vacation” episode of Season 3 of “The Office” and I noticed something odd. Near the end, when Michael is making his slow march up the stairs after Jan, One can see a placard propped up behind a hardhat on top of a steel locker. It gives the price of a “gun permit” and “photo” and totals the cost.
WTF?
Maybe it’s a hint of a series finale?
A lot of the certificates and other items on the walls on the show are inside jokes and gags with the names of production crew members printed on them. They’re often out of focus in the background, so in general they’re difficult/impossible to read. Maybe they show up better in HD?
I know one of the framed certificates on the wall states that Michael Scott is the proud owner of a Seyko [sic] timepiece. It shows up clearly in HD, I don’t know about standard def. I haven’t seen anything about a gun permit.
