The official election day 2012 thread: 11/6/12

CNN just called Iowa.

NBC calls NC for Romney

The Left Coast. That’s 78 votes when you include Hawaii.

Joe Walsh out!

249 to 191!

Especially since all of us in Oregon voted weeks ago.

Why is CNN waiting to call Oregon–do they know something I don’t? edit: ninjaed a long time ago, apparently.

And NBC calls Ohio. That’s it.

MSNBC calls it for Obama!

DONE

21 electoral votes to go. Let’s finish this early and win me $50!

The west coast closed (CA, WA)
Boy… there’s a bald guy on the Fox channel that is really NOT happy about the election. He also talked about Romney like he’d lost and the main guy (dark hair guy) immediately corrected him that Romney had not lost yet.

Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

That’s it!

MSNBC just called OH for Obama, giving him 274!

Bloomberg is showing 225 votes without California’s 55.

Faux just called Ohio for Obama

It speaks well of you to show up here. Take heart in this- if you were wrong about how the election would turn out, it’s also possible you’re wrong about what kind of President Obama is (and will continue to be). There are decent, hard-working patriots who happen to disagree with you about policy- but they may make America better. We shall see. I’m confident that we’re both rooting for the same results as to the economy and the American people.

After an increasing frenzy of anti-Obama / Democrat posts (though, strangely, no pro-Romney ones) in the last few weeks my Facebook teabaggers are 100% silent.

Early results in Arizona. Gifford’s hand picked successor (Ron Barber) may be in for a long night. R’s may pick up an extra house seat.

Time to break out the Scotch - Ohio called for Obama by FOX NEWS.

Yep, all the networks are popping their corks - even Fox. I’m just waiting for the black borders to appear as a matter of principle.
