Ha… CA closed, Fox gives it immediately to Obama by virtue of the fact that the state still exists and voting has closed.
The Denver Post has called CO for Obama…
obama sweeps the republican home states! wi goes to obama!
238 to 191 now!
Let’s be fair. Who didn’t call California for Obama about … oh … four years ago?
Thank God for the west coast, that’s all I have to say.
If I’m doing my math right (and NV holds) that does it, right? 4 more years?
ETA: Or is Iowa still out?
BBC is saying ABC is saying Jeb Bush or someone in his office is tweeting that Florida is lost to Romney.
How’s that for definitive?
Not that I see.
NBC shows him 27 away.
Intrade: Romney had about 30% earlier in the day. Now he has a spread of 3.5-5.0%. It’s over.
Still need Iowa for that route. That would be 272, but at that point we don’t have to care about Ohio, Virginia, or Florida. I think 332 is still very possible for Obama.
How is Oregon too early to call?
I’m from Ohio and don’t usually watch elections on TV… so I find it funny when they’re just waiting for the polls to close so they don’t run afoul of the laws. They could at least county up 10 votes just as a ‘representative tribute’ to those millions of people who voted.
BBC has called North Carolina for Romney.
Still waiting on Virginia.
Wow, how did Obama just shoot into the lead like that? Which states got counted that weren’t before?
Local Fox channel is reporting that FL voters are still in queue to vote… wow, I feel sorry for them, but give them big props for sticking it out!
And there’s Iowa for Obama. Romney has to pick off Colorado or Nevada and hold all other outstanding states. I’ll laugh if it’s over before OH, FL, and VA are called.
CNN calls Iowa… so that just about does it, folks.
BBC has Obama leading electorally 244-203.
California. 55 Electoral votes.
CNN calls Iowa for Obama.
