VunderKind was a C-section, and she developed a hernia from it. When it was repaired, she lost her BB. The good news is the surgeon put it in the Navel Reserve.
Hi folks! Happy Hump day to you all. FCM, my cousin wrenched her back the other day and she used a salon pas patch on it and the heat really helped the muscle relax, I guess. I don’t know if you’ve tried anything like that or not, but it might help some.
We -finally- got the swamp cooler turned on and have been comfortable, even to the point of it becoming a bit too cool (shhh… ) and we’ve had to turn it off for a while. At any rate, it sure felt good to be comfortable again. Even with the very low humidity, hot is still HOT. laughs If you know what I mean!
I am looking for new (to me) books to read. I enjoy historical romances, mystery and suspense, and will even read non-fiction or biography on occasion. Any recommendations will be gratefully welcome.

A tree guy came to the door - **FCD **asked him about grinding our 17 stumps. He says they get $100 per stump. We passed. Even if we were both still working, that’s a ridiculous amount, IMHO.

My mom had her car taken away because she was driving too slowly, or so I heard. She’d been getting into a lot of (minor…?) accidents lately, so she was probably being over-cautious.
Apparently the car is now at a police station, but my mother’s actual driver’s license hasn’t been taken away.
I usually like my job, but today I screwed up spectacularly, due to my being bad at remembering names. I guess it can be somewhat easy to confuse two people with each other. Well, today I royally effed up and managed to mix up not two people, but three. Wow. Just wow.
On the upside, today I taught my boss a new English expression. At work, we all talk to each other in French. My boss was saying to me in French, does it ever happen to you that you just suddenly forget something you just thought you knew, or you just can’t remember something? I said that in English, we have an expression for that, but it’s not very polite. She asked me to tell her anyway, so I said it was called a “brain fart.” She found that hilarious. 
Yesterday’s bass clarinet performance at work went very well!

We had Chik-Fil-A for lunch at irk. I spent the day trying to stay awake since I’ve not been sleeping much the last couple of weeks. I took a nap when I got home today.
Everyone likes my new haircut. There would be pics, but I don’t have a camera that I can upload pictures from. I don’t seem to have that option on my phone anymore.

So my mother calls me from the ocean.
I told her the garbage disposal is working.
She is all upset about the mice and wanted to know if while the HFH and her hounds are gone if I could borrow a cat. I don’t think it will work to borrow one if I even knew of one to borrow.
So I have until Friday to figure something out before the HFH gets back.
