Cracker Barrel was open - and will be all day - so we got breakfast. Yum.

I’ve got 2 punkin pies in the oven. Yum.

**FCD **installed Windows 10 last night and he’s playing with it. I still haven’t decided if I’m going to download it or not. He didn’t have a choice - it just happened - weird.

And that’s my day so far - somewhere in there, we showered and dressed - before Cracker Barrel, of course.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you who celebrate; or happy Thursday to those who don’t.

For the first time in years, I am not hosting Thanksgiving; we will be going to my daughter and son-in-law’s new house. I am bringing the stuffing/dressing and a dessert. I made the dessert last night; pumpkin bundt cake with a caramel drizzle icing. Soon, I’ll start preparing the stuffing.

It’s currently about 22 degrees outside, but at least it’s not snowing. Skies are supposed to remain clear; thus the cold temps.

To those traveling, be safe!

Got invited to a breakfast quiche made by the landlady’s family; they asked to use our crock pot to make the second batch. Landlord disassembled it because he doesn’t think it works properly. Gaaah, he’d better reassemble the damn thing! That crock pot is our lifeline!

Dinner will be at 4 Eastern today. ekemom will be making steamed broccoli; I’ll be providing the cheese sauce.

Just dragged out of bed (later than a certain cat cared for. Oh well), working on getting my brain booted enough to cope with Birdzilla. Some cooking on the agenda, no set plans about timing.

Probably going to spend a chunk of the day working on DVR contents.

Pies are baked. Kitchen is tidied. Ziva fluff has been vacuumed up, along with some ash around the pellet stove. I’m about to clean the glass on the stove door, since it’s cooled down.

I’ve also watched 3 episodes of Doc Martin. Aunt Joan just died, alas…

We watched a little bit of the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade during breakfast, and when we retired to the trailer I put on Jurassic Park, which I bought yesterday. Looks good on our relatively new flatscreen.

GOBBLE! GOBBLE! BURP! ‘Scuse me. Company has come (YAY!) and gone {DOUBLE YAY). A good time was had by all. Much laughter, much consumption of mass quantities, and best of all no drama. I put “Drama Free Zone” signs on the door leadin’ from outside to the kitchen were everyone enters, the livin’ room, and the dinin’ room. Everybody got a kick out of that so all went well. Everything is all cleanded up and stored away and dishwasher is runnin’.

OYKW is upon the bed threatenin’ to roll over on my side if he feels the need to heave up his guts. Needless there will be no talk of dindin tonight.

Hope everyone who celebrated or is in the midst of celebratin’ has had or is havin’ a good time.

Mmmmm good Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, canned cranberries, green bean casserole, sweet potatoes, stuffing… and ekemom made some cranberry sauce while I made the broccoli and cheese sauce.

We had a traditional dinner of smoked ribs, fried N.O.T.s-n-onions, and cauliflower. Pie later.

We were going to have fish, but as I was digging thru my fish stash in the freezer, I came across the ribs that I’d forgotten we had. So it was a nice and tasty surprise. **FCD **is watching Carolina spank his Cowboys.

I don’t wanna go to work tomorrow, but I shall, because I’m a professional, dammit!

My cousin started making dinner yesterday and put it all in the fridge to cook today. I made the cranberry sauce (sugar free and regular) and a lovely squash, onion, and apple side dish. The sprog made the pumpkin pies, and my dad is heating the turkey and stuffing up and making the gravy. My cousin isn’t feeling well, so he’s staying home, and my other cousin isn’t coming for whatever reason.

I’m fighting a nap.

Rockin’ give in. You can never win against a nap. Nap will overcome.

I hear that swampy’s favorite Thanksgiving side dish is lutefisk with marshmallows and brussels sprouts!!! No really, he told me so!!

Nap has been had at Butterville. And carrot cake and pecan pie.

I don’t believe that it will cook in the refrigerator. :dubious:

I think it’s time to log off and have some pie. *** MWAH!!***

Well, as long as it doesn’t contain nutmeg and cinnamon. That’s just wrong!

Had the feast, and even had pie  Even though Mr. Raventhief not a fan – made it anyway MWAH-Ha-HA

Dinner was turkey, stuffing, loaded mashed N.O.T.s, broccoli in cheese sauce, gravy, and cranberry relish followed by pumpkin pie with whipped cream. There are enough leftovers for four more meals

Home and just had a little turkey and stuffing. Work went well but we had a truck fail to show which will mean even greater volume tomorrow. It would have been nicer today at time and a half.

Chicken with stewed tomatoes and rice for dinner.

Been proof reading papers.
I still feel icky, with chills and all.
