I have really not been feeling good lately. This is not fun.
There’s been ‘something’ going around work which involves achy / tired / upset tummy right now. Several people have had to take a day for it.
Also I am sure the pollen is vicious right now.

Supper is smelling really yummerrific!! It should be ready about 5 or so. Wish we had some dessert, too. The cookies I baked the other day were all gone by yesterday evening. Alas…
“Repaint” reminds me of a joke I like. In honor of the season:
Joe and Steve were up on the church roof, repainting the steeple. When they were two-thirds of the way done, they ran out of paint. They got into an argument over who should go get more. Finally Steve said to Joe, “Hey, we’ve got some turpentine up here. Let’s just put some in the paint can to thin out what we have left and use that to finish the steeple.” Joe thought this was a great idea, so that’s what they did.
As they were painting the cross on the top of the steeple, storm clouds started gathering. Thunder rumbled and a bolt of lightning struck the ground near the church. The thunder turned into a voice which said:

Add to that the olfactory “delights” of public transit, such as a train car that smells like a wet dog, plus the walking ashtray sitting near me.
My sinuses hate me.
Supper was yum. Dishes are done. I’m doing the last part of the afghan - I might actually get it done tomorrow… maybe…

I was slothy and almost blurfy today ,inspite of it being sunny and there being green things on some of the trees. Guess I’m tired of 35 degree mornings. Or working 2 trucks and 22 hours in 2 days? Dinner is rainbow trout, black bean garlic rice, and tossed sallit with orange miso dressing.

Hooray! I seem to have finally won DH over to the idea of letting someone else lug our stuff. Some other people have also pretty much said a flock of rental trucks was a nutty idea.
And much package ensues. They may have the worst trucks, but UHaul has the best prices on boxes, other than on what they call book boxes. The rest of the world calls them 12x12x12 boxes - one cubic foot. Amazon has a better price, so I ordered some. You can’t make this up…**the boxes came in a box! ** Who ordered the Zen koan? So now we have a free 24x24x12 box that will be just the thing for comforters or pillows.
Pills do nothing for my sinuses anymore. The only thing that keeps me breathing is a daily neti pot. If I skip a day I feel it. Oh how I feel it.
I’d take wet-dog smell, and maybe (just maybe) even ashtray smell over someone eating a reeking Big Mac. P.U.
I’ve been having a bad night (details too disgusting to go into here without grossing anyone out), but at least I got to unexpectedly spend the early evening of today with friends, so that was nice.
Fooling around I just found a website dedicated to new artists trying to get out there.

It’s been quiet, TOO quiet.
My niece told them off yesterday but I only got bits and pieces of what she said.

I’m home from dinner, been home but irk was busy tonight.
Dinner was interesting. I had meatloaf and it was pretty good. Normally I get shrimp salad but I wanted some comfort food.
Today is wire-the-shed day! **FCD **found where the wire to the red shed is buried. We’re going to dig it up as far back as necessary, then dig a new trench to the relocated shed. We’ve got a light to hang in the rafters, plus we’ll put an outlet next to my work table and maybe hang a spotlight on the end to illuminate the far end of the yard. Apart from the hassle of digging up the line, the rest is relatively easy.
Tomorrow, I think I’ll start painting the shed - I have nothing else I need to do, and I really need to get the painting done so it’s no longer hanging over my head. I’ll also do whatever laundry **FCD **needs for next week - he leaves Monday and will be gone at least a week. Assuming the weather returns to spring next week, I’ve got plenty to keep me out of trouble, at least during daylight hours. And if I stay occupied with my daylight chores, I’ll be dead to the world at night, so it’s a win all around - provided a certain canine doesn’t wake up at 3 in the morning…

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 56 Amurrkin out and rainy, with a predicted high of 57 for the day and rainy. Good day to be in da cave! However, I shall take myself over to the church house for the Noon Good Friday service. I don’t feel all sinusy right now so maybe the rain is helpin’. YAY!
I shall spend part of the day preppin’ foodstuffs for Sunday N.O.L. Since eight people are showin’ up for an Easter N.O.L. I reckon I best have food on hand. I have decided on ham, N.O.T. sallit, asparagus (I’m thinkin’ bacon wrapped and broiled cause it’s so good!), steamed carrots, a congealed strawberry sallit (at the request of OYKW), rolls and cheesecake which OYKW shall make bein’ as he is the king of cheesecake. That’s an easy yet nummy spread. Think I shall go ahead and make the N.O.T. sallit and congealed sallit today just cause I can.
Sari sometimes nuttin’ else will do but comfort food.
Now it’s time for more caffiene and to feed rumbly tummy. Then I shall purtify and commence stuff.

I’m all showered and dressed - go me! In a little while, we’ll go to the gym, then stop at Food Lion on the way back because we’re out of milk. Still only 37° out there and overcast - it durn well better warm up soon!!!
I have acheived congealed and N.O.T. sallit. Go Me! I also have cream cheese out to soften per instructions from OYKW. I also have a load of towels in the dryer and sheets in the washin’ machine. I feel so domestic. Slap a string of pearls on me and call me June Cleaver.
We are under a flood watch for the next twenty four hours. Rah. I shall probably have to let water out of the cee-mint pond at some point as it has been steadily rainin’ with no signs of lettin’ up at all today and tonight.
