The Pass Over MMP

Bon bons? swampy, could you be any more gay???

Busy morning at FairyChatEstates. **FCD **found the o-ring he needed for his fuel tank. We bought a new spotlight for on the shed. I just finished painting all the trim on the shed - first coat, anyway, and I’m having lunch. FCD got his bike put back together and running, and he’s at the dealership right now for their Easter open house, because nothing says Resurrection of Jesus like hanging out with a bunch of Harley bikers. Last year (and I assume again this year) they had someone dressed up like a bunny giving candy to kids, among other things. Good chance for him to show off his artistical work.

When I finish lunching, I’m probably going to slap on a coat of paint on the shed. It should go lots faster since I’ll be using a roller, mostly. Then it can dry all day tomorrow, and I can do a second coat on Monday, before Tuesday’s rain. That’ll give me the rest of the week to weed and mulch and stuff.

Yanno, being a homeowner sometimes ain’t all it’s cracked up to be. sari, maybe you should just rent an apartment in a swinging singles complex and enjoy life!

Happy Caturday

I am playing a gig today, so I will be wearing outrageous socks.

Jim

Back from irk at the tiny football ground, apparently for the final time- we ain’t got the security contract any more. I’m sure there’s a story about how we lost the contract with only one match left of the season, but I’ve not found it out yet. We weren’t even s’posed to be told we weren’t coming back, but one of the guys in charge thought that was a bit harsh, seein’ as some people had been irking there over 3 years.

I’m quite happy to not have to go back there again- the (unpaid) travel time on a staff bus we had to pay to be on, plus the play money wages for getting basically abused by fans is not something I’ll miss, but it is a bit worrying that the company’s losing even more contracts. I hope something better comes up soon!

Anyway, assorted yays, boos, appropriate Easter greetings and suchlike, I’m getting din din then probly goin’ out to a partay. Have fun everyone!

Clothes are clean, dog is walked, off to work.

Happy Saturday everyone!
Ahh, it’s a good day, windows are open FINALLY even though there is still some snow on the ground under the pines. It’s 60ºF and sunny, good breeze going. Sitting back and enjoying some fresh homemade bread hot out of the oven with butter slathered all over it and melting in. Mmm…

Swampbear, I had a lovely 10 pound box of bonbons for you, and was actually in process of bringing them to you, when it happened. Yes, you see, Georgia is a long trip from Wisconsin, and the hungries struck. I ate them. I am so deeply sorry. :frowning:
I could try again though.

See? There is hope yet.
The fellows may eat the sharks on the way over. “Just a little fin for some soup…”

Today I am moving Winter houseplants back outside.
Again.

Just think, if you keep moving your plants inside and outside like this, you’ll have them leash-trained in no time!

[mops drool out of keyboard]

FCM Moving into a hot swinging singles complex sounds like fun to me. However I doubt Sah-son would handle his momma behaving like one.
The other day he told me he had finally watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail ad he was joking and acting out some of the scenes. I was teasing him and told him that now he knows what comes after the spanking. That got me a nasty look and he walked away. Sometimes I think somebody at the hospital switched babies on me.

Finally home. My sinuses have been kicking my butt all day today. I’m also angsty because I posted a story to the LJ writing contest this morning and no one’s commented on it yet. So now I think it sucks. :frowning:

Firstly, welcome to the MMP Fluffer! Secondly, mayhaps you should just mail the bonbons. I can then receive the mail lady as she brings 'em to me.

I am also in possession of a two pound box of bonbons. Ok, it’s assorted chawklits which is pretty much the same thing. OYKW bought me a box. AWWWWW!!! I also bought him a box. We got 'em at the classiest of places to buy fine chawklits, Fred’s Discount Drugs.

Ima grill some grouper and tilapia with peppers and onions for dindin. Peas 'n carrots and wild rice shall be sides. Simple, easy, nummy!

*pfffft *- tell the boy to grow a pair! How does he think you got him??

The shed is mostly done. I’ve got to paint the doors - I just ran out of steam! Then I’ll put a second coat on the bottom half of all the walls, and spread what remains as far as it will go. Once that’s all dry, I’ll put a second coat on the trim and declare it done!

**FCD **put up the spotlights, and all the electrical to the shed works like a champ. I got to listen to the radio while I was painting, which was nice.

He also got some nice comments at the dealership, and a couple of people asked for his number. If he can find someone to take the bike over to the dealer on Saturday, I’ll sit with it and hand out business cards for him.

Meanwhile, I need to figure out what to do for supper. And I have to launder whites. And my sweetie needs a haircut. No rest for the weary…

Dindin is consumed. ‘Twas good. OYKW is havin’ a soak in the tub. We considered goin’ to the Easter Vigil this evenin’ but it does not start until around eightish and it’s cook and icky out so we’re just gonna stay in da cave. Sounds like a good plan to me!

The day just sucks worse and worse.

Welcome to the MMP, Fluffy (or did you used to be someone else, in which case who?).

One of these days, I need to find and eat a bonbon since everyone seems to think they’re the height of being pampered and/or lazy. Never had one, so I can’t even say I’d recognize one if I saw it on a buffet or whatever.

Speaking of buffets - we went to one for a friend’s birthday. I’d forgotten how awful they were.

At least I got off easy with the blown tire - just a nudge over $100 to have it replaced. The irritating thing is that if I’d gotten an oil change and tire rotation last week, the tire with road hazard warranty would have gotten damaged and replaced for something cheaper. Apparently, only two of my tires have hazard warranty on them.

If only they would come when I whistled.

I’m having a Dr. Lecter moment here.

We let Salsa’s make supper, because they’re good and cheap and I didn’t have to cook or do dishes. I just gave **FCD **a haircut (#2 guard on the clippers, all over) and I tossed a load of whites into the washer. He just turned off the aquarium pump, so he’s starting the water change.

We’ve got to run by CVS as soon as they open - we got there 10 minutes too late this evening to pick up his drugs. And once we have that, we’ll head up to Mom’s. It’ll be nice to have a day of doing nothing - my achy body appreciates that!

I see an early bedtime tonight. I also see a handful of tylenol as my dessert - I should go get it now. Here’s hoping Higgs lets us sleep in.

gotti have a bonbon.

Most buffets are awful. Hence my pet name for 'em is hog troughs.

Also, yay for a not too bad blown tire replacement.
