The Pay-It-Forward MMP

I’ll see your clue by four, and raise you a golf gun.

Wassa golf gun? Is that a smaller caliber version of a spud gun?

I don’t know either, but it always makes a hole in Juan.

News flash: Local police have enlisted the help of the FBI in locating Bobbio’s givadammer; it’s wanted in the kidnapping of his sense of humor & is considered unarmed but extremely dangerous.

We now return you to your regularly scheduled programming already in progress.

Damn it! I feel so bad. I think I let down a good friend. He’s not in town very often, and I sent him a message this morning saying I’d like to meet up with him, and then I went out to run some errands. When I got home at 11:00, there was a message form him, saying he could meet me… at 11:00 at the mall. Damn it, now it’s too late, and I hope he isn’t waiting for me at the mall, because I can’t make it there and it’s too late and I feel so fucking bad about it and I really, really hope he’s not mad at me. :’(

Back from erranding. I have a shiny new license, good for 5 more years, I picked up FCD’s meds at CVS, and my stop at WalMart for a $4 bottle of body wash turned into a $64 shopping expedition. But to be fair, I got my sweetie a pair of pants for work, since they don’t allow jeans. And I found a small turkey that should fit nicely in the rotisserie. And I got a few other random things just because.

It’s still drizzly and miserable out there. I don’t much like driving the truck, but its heater works real good, which made that part of the adventure acceptable. Now I need to hustle up something lunch-like…

It’s cold (35 degrees F) and grey. My kitchen is demolished. The upper cabinets are in, lowers should go in today. Mebbe tonight I can put a few things away instead of having my dining table, the buffet, the floor of the dining room, and part of the living room covered in boxes and bags. The toaster oven is nestled snugly between the toilet and the wall in the powder room which is also my washing up station. There is a workshop set up in my garage with a B.A. saw (maybe miter saw or bench saw) and assorted cabinetry. My house looks like a hoarder lives there.

I shouldn’t’ve over-reacted.

I’m getting fat. I should stop eating so much chocolate. But it tastes so good…

**peedin **- when we bought this house, we did our own remodeling, and I don’t know how long cooking was done in the microwave and washing up occurred in the bathtub. Ten long years have faded those memories…

Remodeling is not for the faint of heart!

I felt pretty punk for most of yesterday. While I did manage to do the chikkun according to plan (and it was delish), I couldn’t muster up the energy to mash any not-our-taters. So the bird components were accompanied by a box of Kraft Mac and Cheese and we went right to bed instead of having dessert.

Feeling a mite better today. Caffeine-extraction system is in operation, and I’ve got half a dozen Marie Callender corn muffins in the oven for our brefftist.

kaylasmom has an appointment for physical therapy on her shoulder in about an hour an a half; and the rehab center, her orthopedist and the insurance company have finally managed to get their collective acts together to provide her with her very own TENS unit, which we’ll be picking up.

Fun with selective quoting of sequential posts…

You get drunk and you buy health and beauty supplies. I get drunk I try to rent some girl named Gloria with a couple missing teeth. One of us is clearly doing it wrong.

That’s because us Vikings fans always place our orders in advance. And there is Oakland as well this year.

Ahhhhh - for shooting 'cans!

(I am soooo ashamed of myself for that)

Peedin, I was a liberrian for 14 years (well, and a library director too for a couple of years in there). Now I work in prospect research, but I’ll be heading back to the liberry for good when I’m done with this. Love the medical liberry stuff! I worked as an academic library for medical careers for a couple of years… nursing students are my FAVORITE. <3

Happy Anniversary a day early, FCM & FCD!

Word for word - the anniversary wishes my sister posted on my FB. Seriously.

I’m not sure whether to thank her or commiserate.

Howdy from MickeyD’s in beautiful downtown Blakely, Jawja, capitol of Early County. I’ve had MickeyD’s twice today. Not a good thing but it’s cheap and easy, which is also the way I like my men. Today I have also been to beautiful downtown Cuthbert, Jawja, capitol of Randolph County, beautiful downtown Ft. Gaines, Jawja, capitol of Clay County, and beautiful downtown Edison, Jawja, not the capitol, but the largest town in Calhoun County. I shall finish my irkday in beautiful, downtown Colquitt, Jawja, capitol of Miller County, and beautiful, downtown Newton, Jawja capitol of Baker County.

OK, N.O.L. is over. Time to head on to beautiful, downtown Colquitt, Jawja.

Laterz!

I wonder…do they make givadammer repair kits? And if they do, do you have to be 21 to buy them? Or can you only buy one legally in Colorado or Washington?

Happy anniversary to the FC 'rents!

Is it time for tea yet? Life at the pop-up tea shoppe continues to be good, if a bit frantic at times. While we were marooned in the Southeast, they tripled in size, and it’s still not large enough to meet demand. Our online bookings are sold out for the rest of the run. Good to be wanted, I guess!

Tomorrow is my monthly penance for telecommuting day, requiring me to get up before air or light exist and travel two hours each way for a one hour meeting. Rah.

Well, doggio has been doing a pretty good job of it

Happy FairyChat-a-versary!!!

You may rent girls in PA? Cool!

Thank her and offer to send some soiled underwear?
