Had my once-every-two-months breakfast today, drove to the local Krispy Kreme and ate my fill of hot glazed donuts (and no, I do not intent to share how many I consumed, just say it was…sufficient).
Really, really need to clean up my house today. I give it a 40% chance.
Just finished cutting out patterns I need for claying. I think I’m going to bring the slabs upstairs and work here - it’s too chilly in the basement. I knew you were worried. 
How can two people have so much laundry? I am overloaded here.

Ariel (my red headed mare) stood on my foot yesterday. Bad words were said my me. This morning my little toe is swoll up and her hoof print can clearly be seen. Thankfully she doesn’t wear shoes. But it hurts like h e double hockey sticks. And I have a headache. BLURF.

I quit. I tried claying. I just don’t want to mess with it. I just don’t care. So I’ll watch some TV till it’s time to bring in the towels and make my quiche.

Metal Mouse, I had to stop for traffic in the grocery store today, right in front of two different brands of Braunschweiger; there was lots. Mebbe we could work a trade Braunschweiger for fresh, hot KK’s.
The bad news - I forgot to give them the rainchek for the eggs that wuz on sale;
The good news - by not giving it to them, I managed to get a free [del]cold Bear[/del] frozen turkey by 37¢! I managed to get a little one (13½ lbs) that’s currently in the freezer; not sure what I’mma gonna do with it, but I gots it. Not even sure I’m doing any cooking this Thanksgiving; mebbe a punkin’ cheesecake iffn I go to the bonfire on Sat evening. Not sure iffn it’s worth it to make my awesomest smoked turkey jambalaya or not. It’s a two day process of cooking - smoke everything one day, then a couple of hours cuttin’, choppin’ & cookin’ everything in the [del]kitchen sink[/del] really big jambalaya pot the next one.
Howdy Y’all! We deheathenated, I did ush duty, we came back to da cave and had N.O.L. and then both of us took a big nap. I did not realize I was that tahrd. Now we’re up and chillin’.

Lucky the customers are nice at this place; I was runnin’ round like a headless chikin and still taking ages to get drinks out, 'cos I was the only one in who could use the coffee machine or the till. Everyone was nice about it though, and kept telling me not to rush…
Got takeaway; feets were too sore to slave at a hot stove to make dindin.

One word: Boxster. A few more words - he doesn’t want dog hair in his car. Plus when he stays there, she sleeps with him, meaning he doesn’t get to sleep much. No worries - he owes me big now! 
I’ve got 2 quiches in the oven and I just brought the towels in. Shortly, I’ll fold them and put them away. I watched a program on Netflix about cats - sari, they said that if a kitten isn’t socialized by the time it’s about 16 weeks, it can take months or years to become accepting of people. That could have been the problem with poor ol’ Percy.
I also watched a Kathleen Madigan concert - she cracks me up!!! I still don’t feel like messing with clay. So my weekend was pretty much wasted, craft-wise. Oh well…
It’s starting to smell yummy in here!

Watched NFL football and wonder of wonders, they had two good games (Atlanta-Philadelphia and Denver-New Orleans) on the tube. Outside of that, I am going to clean up my files. Tried to call brother again but no answer, guess they are out and about. Try again this evening.
By sweetie called about 2 hours ago when he got to FL. He should be getting to his parents place within the next 30 minutes. So that’s good.

We had ribs and leftover greens and other veggies. Was good. I think I have one more load of laundry. I had to take a break from it but before the night is done it will all be done.
Hate tomorrow is Moanday. Dammit.
No pics - I’m kinda surprised he didn’t ask me to take pics… But I’m sure he will after he does the painting he wants to do - blue flames coming from under the hood and the trunk. Something to look forward to.
He just called from FL, so he got there in about 13 hours. My quiches are done and I think they’re now cook enough for me to eat. After then cool some more, I’ll package the rest for breakfasts all week. Yum!!
Shopping today and lunch with friends. Getting ready for my vacation which starts next Sunday when I put the OW on a plane for Florida. A week of just myself and work is such a treat I can barely wait. I tried to talk her into going to the airport today since they do say to allow extra time for check-in but she wouldn’t go for it.
This Sunday morning, in church, I heard what may be the best sermon ever, for me at least. It was what I needed after this week past and the depression I’ve felt. Some of us here are religious, some are not, but when it gets posted on the church site I’ll provide a link if anyone wants it. You’d have to read it, it’s too hard to describe without hearing it all, but I feel a lot better now about the near future.
Anyone want to make some bucks and help me clean my house? I’ve really let things slide(hangs head in shame) and facing the task is daunting.
My cat seems to be feeling better after some meds the vet gave him. Atilla is 10-1/2 years old, so he’s probably getting more susceptible to illness, but I love him. He’s the only pet I’ve ever had that I know his exact birthday, as him mom was feral and had the kittens in my backyard. He kind of resented it when I brought in Nathan the dog, but got over it long ago.
Weather still not bad here. I can’t believe it’s this nice in November.
Quiche was yum! Dishes are done. Towels have been folded and put away. I’m counting on an early bedtime - probably with Mel.
Dindin was forage for yourself. I found two grilled burgers, so they got heated up and we had cheeseburgers which is always a good thing. I et up some sliced 'maters as well. Not too shabby.
CupCakes glad kitty is better. Hope your house is better soon. I look forward to readin’ that sermon. Not sure if our Interim Priest’s sermons are put up on the web page, guess I should check that out, but she gave a good one today as well.
Another weekend has wound down. Not that weekends matter to me now.
Part of my problem is that I’m lazy. If I ever won the lottery one of the first things I’d arrange for is a weekly housekeeping service.
Does that make me a bad person?:o
