I am married to my “rebound” guy. And we got together only a week or so after my ex moved out (a man I had lived with for almost 3 years and had a one-year-old son with.)
I think it really depends on how she felt about the relationship ending. If she was the one who initiated it, or if the relationship was dead for months (or years) before they broke up, then it’s no big deal. BUT if he left the relationship and left her heartbroken and crying her eyes out every night, then 6 weeks probably isn’t enough time to move on.
I never had a doubt in my mind that my ‘rebound guy’ definately wasn’t a rebound. If she tells you that you definately aren’t then I say start trusting her now. Trust is a major componant to any successful relationship.
I have been with my guy for over 3 years and married just a few months.
