Well, that is not true because past experience has shown me that just when you think you have it all together the universe throws you a curve and everything goes to hell.

). It should be in the sixties today, but the first few days next week are supposed to be gloriously spring-like.

Going to another concert today, downtown, by a singing group that a couple of my friends are in.
We had breakfast in Leonardtown. Once we came home, I emptied the dishwasher and started refilling it. **FCD **has gone to Lowe’s for lumber. He’s going to build a rack to store his aluminum stock. I’m thinking about dusting - yep, my favorite chore.
And the house smells of teriyaki! I need to put soy sauce on my shopping list because I used the last of the marinade so I need to mix up a new batch. I also need to get a dozen eggs so they can age before I make deviled eggs for Easter at Mom’s. I need to find the instructions for dying boiled egg whites - I’ve still got the food coloring, but I’ve forgotten the details.

I wouldn’t be able to do that, since Allie is a Siamese mix. I’d get less sleep dealing with Siamese howls of outrage than I do just letting her come and go.

Up and getting ready for a bonus day of work. After still being partly beaten by the last day - Friday. Thank goodness for Absorbine jr veterinary strength. Works well with only <stomps foot twice> side effects.
Up & out early (again), workout, extra special deheathinating/memorial service, & grocery shopping done. Time to get horizontal again.

Jerky is done. Racks are soaking in hot, soapy water. Shortly, I will build a couple of quiches for supper and a week’s worth of breakfasts.
