The Run to Super Bowl Licks (LIX). 2024 NFL playoffs

The wholesale slaughter and desecration of the remains of Phil Collins’ “In the Air Tonight” is a crime against humanity.

I was thinking, can’t we find a song that isn’t from 44 years ago? (Sorry for making everyone here feel old.)

Chiefs fan here, loudly disagreeing with that last personal foul called on the Texans.

Bullshit call.

Indeed. Same here.

I know going for it on 4th down is all the rage, but that was a dumb decision.

This is a terrible take. Chris Stapleton needs to release the full song. It’s an awesome cover.

Also agree. I think the two Texans that collided caused a loud enough noise that the refs thought it was a collision with Mahomes.

Big stop by the Texans after the offense turned it over on downs. KC needed a first down to get into FG range, and gained virtually nothing. Houston very much still in the game.

Not if the refs have anything to say about it.

I can’t stand when rules put in place for safety reasons end up getting exploited. It’s understandable from a strategy perspective, but it just sucks to watch.

Some of these plays where the QB is trying to bait an unnecessary roughness should maybe be penalties against the QB. They’re the ones creating the dangerous play.

Refs showed amazing ability this game - 8 sacks and a blocked field goal exceeded my highest expectations.

7 straight AFC title games, let’s go!

I was really hoping the Texans could win that one. Damn!

And Spag’s defense came up big with those 5 consecutive blitzes.

Lions can’t seem to stop Washington. Shit.

And Goff has two turnovers. Shit.

And is now in the locker room for a concussion check.

On what, IMHO, should have a been a targeting penalty. He was engaged with another blocker and helmet to helmet contact was made.

That late hit on Goff should have been a penalty. WTF?

Lions got robbed. The pick six was 100% invalid and the Lions should have been given the ball back plus 15 yards.

Those kind of officiating mistakes are unacceptable IMO. It was blatant.

NFL Caliber defense?

Paging an NFL caliber defense?

Anyone?

Hello?

I know. I’m surprised Campbell didn’t throw out a challenge flag.

At least the Lions scored and got some momentum back

I don’t think you can challenge something like that unfortunately. :frowning:

You do know the Lions’ defense has a ridiculous amount of injuries, right?
