Yeah, they’ve had more attrition on their defense than any other team this year. It’s amazing that they’re the #1 seed given their player turnover.
16 defensive players on IR. And?
It was after the pick, so Washington would have kept the ball. But it should have put the ball at the 20 instead of a TD.
You may be right now that I think about it; the turnover had already occurred at that point.
Definitely looked like a penalty, but the Lions wouldn’t have been given the ball back. It was after the change of possession, so Washington would have kept the ball, with first down somewhere around the 20.
Yup, I’m pretty sure you’re right.
You must be fun to watch a game with.
There’s still plenty of time left, but if Detroit loses tonight, it’s especially embarrassing because Barry Sanders is there.
And the Lions catch a break with a facemask penalty when there was no facemask. Should have been punting, instead it’s a first down.
Sonic and Knuckles weren’t on Nintendo.
You mean, should have been Lions going for it on 4rh down. Have you watched Dan Campbell?
Damn, Brady is a bad color guy. If I hear him say ‘in space’ one more time I may mute my TV.
I like him okay.
He’s fine except for saying “red area.”
I’m against calling either shot against Goff or Daniels, but if you’re going to call one you’ve got to call both.
Loved Brady as a quarterback, going back to his Michigan days.
But as an announcer, I don’t know, maybe he’ll get better and I’ll warm up to him, but right now he speaks in cliches and has a voice like a muppet.
Brady sometimes points out interesting things happening on plays, which in my mind is a fair trade-off. So many color commentators just read whatever factlet was put on a sheet for them before the game.
Lions basically gave up the TD with a terrible 12 men on the field penalty on 4th and 2. That’s on the coaches.
Seriously why didn’t Campbell call TO?
Even Tom Brady saw it!
Would have been 4th-and-5 at their own 25. Not sure even Campbell would have gone for that one.
And just now Washington with another interception. 12 minutes left. Lions desperately need a defensive stop.
