I can do vodka and 7-up. That’s not too bad either. I don’t think I’ve tried vodka and Dr. Pepper (but, considering I have some weird allergic reaction to it that causes an asthma attack, I’d probably better not try it, either).
Still, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with vodka and coke. It takes good. Even the flavored vodkas. All I ask is that you not knock it until you’ve tried it.

I dated a woman in Buffalo who drank V&T. I thought it was Vodka and Tonic, until I saw it. It was Vodka and Tea. Iced Tea. Seems a popular drink in Cheektowaga. I obviously had to break up with her.

Airman is definitely out. The Guard is making him fly somewhere that weekend and he can’t get out of it.
Unless Aaron and I can get floor space from one of y’all, we’re going to have to bow out, too. Have car and playpen, will travel.

Also, if anybody has advice on getting decent tickets to see Rent (i.e. NOT Ticketmaster), I’d appreciate it. I read the current showing reserves some of the best tickets to be sold first come-first serve two hours beforehand at discount rates, but I don’t think we want to sit around waiting for tickets if we can help it…
Oh, and I was thinking we’d go see it Friday night, so we probably wouldn’t make it to that night’s gathering until 11-ish, if that works out.
You will have no problem getting half price tix for Rent at TKTS.

bouv, will you be taking Route 9 to Poughkeepsie? If so, you’ll REALLY be going right past me, and I’ll be about five minutes out of your way. I live just two miles from that road, and could walk to the roadside through the woods and wave a flag until you pass me. 
We’re still thinking about heading to <i>Rent</i> with you. Keep me posted on what you want to do. If you decide to go TKTS, I may have to ask someone to pick up a couple extra tickets for us, which we will reimburse when we get there, because I’m still not sure what time on Friday we’ll be getting into town.
