LindyHopper, you may get some early joiners for Korean. I’m always up for it, and I know it’s one of Pucette’s favorites, among other New Yorkers. There’s a particular place on 32nd Street that Pucette turned me that’s really good.
Racinchikki, I’d recommend coming down by commuter train (or Amtrak). Once you get to Grand Central (or Penn Station if you take Amtrak) it’s pretty easy to get around the City. I also wouldn’t be surprised if someone were willing to meet your train and take you around. As an alternative, I think some of the Montrealers and Upstaters may be coming down I-87. Perhaps you could meet them somewhere along the way.
Pencil me in, too. In like, really, really heavy pencil, so that you can’t erase it without REALLY trying. Because hell or high water, I plan to do whatthehelleverittakes to be there, sleep in the House of Pain, Bearhug Fran, keep Jess warm, kick Maeg’s ass, and do various other totally enjoyable things. Likely I will be renting a van and so will be able to provide conyenance of sorts, and I will surely be bringing Canadian beer so’s you Americans can drink something besides water for a change
Oh, and as an addendum, if anyone coming in from locations afar wanted to bring me local matchboxes from say, bars or clubs or such places, I’d be ever so grateful. Am willing to do exchanges!

Eonwe you plan on going early? Like early in the morning or earlier than the 3rd? I probably have to work the 2nd of January. I thought I’d bus down to Burlington that evening and we’d leave Friday morning…
It’s just that my vacation bank* isn’t replenished, as it were, until the end of March, so unless I manage to accumulate hours at work, all I have is my so-called “Personal Day,” which I’d use for the Friday… Let me know.

At least next year, having three years of service, I get three weeks’ vacation. w00t!
Damn, Trip. I was hoping to get a chance to see you again, too. Next time you’re out this way, let me know. Sadly, I won’t be able to do Note Nazi duty this year, as I won’t be out for Friday night’s festivities. But to anyone thinking of taking up the mantle, as last year’s Note Proxy trust me when I say that Trip is really good about getting supplies out to you.
As for the website, I haven’t had a chance to get it up yet, because I’m still having some internet issues (as in the cable company can’t seem to figure out how to get my cable modem working so I’ve been on dial-up!) I’m going to try to work on the site over the next week or two and get it up with all the updates. If anyone has any ideas for pictures/graphics to put up on the website, feel free to e-mail me with them and I’ll be happy to encorporate them into the site as best I can. Bill, send me any information you may happen to have when you get it, and I’ll get it all up as quickly as possible.
On a less important front, my official DopeDress has been decided on… 3" black boots, black mini-skirt, black lace tank-top (yep, the same one from last year), black & white checked jacket, and Lindy’s fedora (as long as he hasn’t lent it out to anyone else since I last spoke with him… then I’ll have to find another fedora to borrow… Now here’s hoping I don’t freeze and that I can walk by the end of the evening!
