She constantly like she’s on the verge of a mental breakdown.
She’s like Ted from the original show, but instead of being constantly depressed, she’s constantly manic. Another way in which she is the opposite of Ted is that she actually has a backbone and gets people to do what she says. But as far as I can tell they have the same job; try to keep the hospital from getting sued.
I do like her in this show though. Her character’s energy really works as a foil for the other characters.
That was Joel Kim Booster, playing Dr Kevin Park. IMDB lists him only in the first two episodes, probably because Dr Dorian was appointed chief of medicine. Presumably Dr Park moved on.
Agreed, JD needs a nemesis. He had 3 nemesises (nemesi?) on the original show-- the Janitor, Dr. Cox and Dr. Kelso (ok, Cox was half nemesis / half mentor). It certainly looked like they were setting up Dr. Park to be the new nemesis in ep.1 of the reboot. Didn’t he tell JD that he was going to eventually take the chief job from him, since he gets everything he wants, or something to that effect?
I’d love to see them do a Cougartown crossover like they did with the Scrubs characters on the Courtney Cox show a hundred years ago. Won’t be the same without Ted, though.
I’m happy to hear both. I’d really like to have more episodes that feature everyone. This season was fun, but we didn’t have a lot of episodes with all the cast.
John C. McGinley (Cox), Judy Reyes (Carla) & even Christa Miller (Jordan) were working on other projects.
As mentioned Ken Jenkins (Kelso) is retired.
Neil Flynn (Janitor) I’m not sure about. I get the impression they wanted to move on from that dynamic. Makes some sense, JD would be able to fire him now.
The rest weren’t regulars. I was missing Doug, but he has completely left acting apparently and is a Real Estate Broker.
