I’m doing OK myself; I filled out two brackets and on one I’m 26/32 and on the other I’m 23/32. I take heart in the fact that no one on earth (or more importantly, no one I work with) picked Bucknell or UW-Milwaukee.

Well, that’s one final four team done for me. Which means for me to win my money pool, I need Duke to win tourney.
I hate Bobby Knight. And the Zags horrible FT shooting as well.
I think the Selection Committee could have done a better job of seeding by drawing names randomly out of a hat.
This is the most upside-down tourney I’ve ever seen. The fact that only one region held seeding while the other three featured upsets of the 3, 4, 5 and 6 seeds makes me wonder if this is the first sign of parity in DI or if the Selection Committee assigned seeds based on reputation rather than performance.

My brackets took a hard hit in the 32.
BC and WF were both up 11 - 0 early in their games today, and both ended up losing to very low seeds.

Ditto. Exactly my thoughts. I haven’t seen the scores of any other games today besides Utah beating OK (which was also a wrong pick for me) and now I’m horrified to look.
Tourney gods, why do you hate me so?
As bad as the day began for me, I still end it in first in the SDMB pool. This isn’t a sprint. I keep forgetting that sometimes.
Fresh from Worcester I come, still clad in orange. A part of me feels good for Brennan and VT. A part of me knows that that was a magical (though poorly officiated) game that I will never see the like of for some time. And a part of me can still feel the vibrations of an entire stadium chanting “U-V-M!”
But a larger part of me clutches a broken bracket and broken dreams and wishes to rattle off a stream of cusses that would boot this thread straight to the Pit.
You syrup suckers had better beat MSU or else I’ll really get pissed.

Let’s see…I had Wake Forest taking out Gonzaga in the Sweet 16, then getting past Washington to the Final Four.
I also had Oklahoma in the Final Four.
In fact, five of the teams I have in the Sweet 16–Gonzaga, Wake, UAB, Alabama, and Oklahoma–are already on the bus home, and they’ve only played half the games so far.
That sound you hear is me taking it straight up the ass.

And for the record, I have Illinois running the table and beating Duke, 83-77. I also have nine of my sweet 16, six of my elite eight, three of my final four and both potential champions still alive. As long as low seeds don’t get all uppity for the rest of the tournament, I should be okay. Bucknell, I’m looking at you. Vermont, I have you losing to Duke. Don’t disappoint me.
As a somewhat gloating update I am still in the top 1% on ESPN and I have lost two of my final sixteen. Go Vermont, I have you winning tomorrow. Kansas I am deeply dissapointed in you. Rock shock Jayhawk indeed.
Give me an Arizona win and I should at least make the leaderboard.

My Final Four–Illinois, Wake Forest, Connecticut, Oklahoma.
As Meat Loaf didn’t quite say, one out of four ain’t bad.
Just got home from Worcester… as amazing as Friday was, damn, did today suck. The Hodge shot to win was an amazing play, but why did it have to be against UConn 
In person, the advantage in athleticism that MSU had over Vermont was far too apparent. Sorrentine made some crazy shots but with Coppenrath looking half dead (He couldn’t have finished better than five for 20 or 25?, and he looked exhausted the whole game), UVM just didn’t it in them. Kind of sad too, as MSU wasn’t really THAT dominating even though they were so much faster.
I am pretty much out in my SDMB bracket… lost 3 of my final four and both of my last two. My money bracket, I’m still alive in, but only barely - go Arizona, oddly enough.

So who else had NC State beating UConn?
The Albuquerque portion of my bracket is completely busted (it looks like The Land of Faded Ink), but I still have six of eight Elite teams and three of four Final teams, including both championship game potentials. I went from 26th percentile to 52nd percentile and could still finish with 1240 points.
WVU and NC State - may you burn in NCAA hell next year for your sins of this past weekend.
