The Sean Spicer Comedy Hour

I thought that was what FOX News pundit slots were for.

With that said, Spicer’s current position has got to be a worse job than cleaning the public toilets on the boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ. It’s like the administration daily hands him a shit sandwich and says, “Make it caviar”. What really boggles, however, is that he tries so enthusiastically.

I’m not sure FOX would have him. The Republican Base knows he’s a liar too, so if he suddenly shows up on FOX, it will make every single reporter there look like they are liars.

Not to me… I’m not their demographic… but to their Base (the people who watch & buy their sponsor’s products.)

If he hands you a paper towel as you approach the sink in the restroom, are you putting money in Sean’s tray?

But CNN hired Lewandowski.

I think Melissa McCarthy should get the job. She did fine at her audition.

Updating this thread:

Does this mean that, barring a possible final appearance, Melissa McCarthy will be resigning from SNL?

Wealthy financier?

Actually, I could see her playing Sarah Huckabee Sanders just as well.

Apparently he’s yet another former Goldman Sachs employee and a host of Fox Business Network’s “Wall Street Week”. What could possibly give anyone even a moment’s pause about his working at the white house?

Had a heated discussion with a friend yesterday, who is about as pro-Trump as you can get. Talks about how his kids love Trump so much, and that they wrote to the White House to see if he’d come to visit the school.

Since inauguration, he and his wife post pictures of his kids wearing Trump gear and whatnot, and how proud they are that their kids are supporting the right candidate. I finally had enough and told him that, of course they are going to echo what they hear at home; they’re under the age of 6. Hell, I remember crying when Clinton beat Bush. I was 11, and outside of listening to talk radio, and my parents, I didn’t know anything about either’s policies, stances, etc.

So, he sent a group message this morning telling us that Spicer quit, that he did a great job, and that it’s a very demanding role.

I replied, saying that Spicer did horribly, to which he asked how Sean should have handled having to face a hostile media.

I then mentioned all the inaccuracies at best, and lies at worst, that Sean made throughout his tenure, saying that the media holding people accountable and truthful isn’t hostile; it’s the media doing their job, something that the White House has made extremely difficult with their constant contradictions, press briefings held either off the record or without being filmed, etc.

He’s having none of it. How someone who otherwise seems so reasonable can completely shove his head in the sand (or maybe somewhere else) just baffles me.

I suspect you could do with a higher caliber of friend. And his kids could do with better role models.

He also may, or may not, be able to do the fandango.

No, no. It’s not a matter of can he; it’s a matter of *will *he?

Well, we won’t have Spicer to kick around any more.

In other news, Melissa McCarthy has filed for unemployment.
