The settlers MMP

She is, but not much.
I favor turning them off at night, to save power and prevent wear and tear. Most programs continue to use memory when stopped, so restarting saves resources.

Laundry is done and put away. Poke chops are marinating(ginger, garlic, sake, and teriyaki sauce), I think I’ll make Five Spice potato wedges with them.

And ending up winning against 3 out of 4 wouldn’t be too shabby.

What you talking about, Willis?:dubious:

I turn my PC off when I go to work ,and when I go to be, otherwise I let 'er run.

Mine will go into sleep mode on its own after being idle for 30 minutes; but I have to leave it on so I can have wifi so I can play with the iPad in bed.

It’s been rainy and stormy most of the afternoon. Bliss! I’m hopin’ for more of the same all night. I think soon I shall go lie upon the bed and stare at teevee until I get sleepified. Sounds like a good plan to me!

Nitey Nite Y’all!

There are 2 small stains that didn’t come out of the carpet, but other than that, the living room looks great! I’ll try to do this room tomorrow before I start sewing and stenciling towels. Then the bedroom will be done next weekend.

Huzzah for clean carpeting!

I let mine go to sleep and restart it once a week. Unless there’s a big ol’ thunderboomer coming, then I turn it off despite the backup battery. Back in The Day I think you did have to turn computers off, but that was when we all had CRT monitors that liked to get the screen image burned into them. Ah, the good ol’ days.

It’s funny, I’m the person who knows the most about how computers actually work at my irkplace. And I don’t really know that much–I just know enough to be extremely dangerous. After hanging around so many computer fixit guys I know how they operate: they Google the problem. Thing is, they know how to interpret the fixit instructions and I don’t.

Time to recline the night away. MWAH!

We haz thunder, and a nice cool breeze is blowing in the window.

We’re locked into this scattered storm pattern. Yesterday we had rain then sun then repeat 4 times and today in a 90 mile drive we came in and out of the rain 6 times. I like rain but I like it more when its reliable all day stuff that soaks in and not this on-and-off downpour and jack the humidity stuff.
