The Simpsons/Cleveland Show/Family Guy/American Dad!; 11 April 2010 (open spoilers)

This is the crossover episode where Stan & Francine visit Quahog. I think the Hills might make an appearance too.

Nice to see they got their timeslot back.

April Fools Day was 9 days ago. :smack: Still I thought it was better than most FG episodes of late. Interesting how everyone forgot to hate Meg. Really didn’t care for Brian’s “deathbed conversion”.

The Simpsons was okay; though the Bart/Lisa subplot was boring.

I think the Cleveland Show would’ve been better if the Brown-Tubbs family had gone to Quahog intead of having Roberta shipped down to Stoolbend. Cleveland forgoting that his ex-wife was also his son’s mother was a little funny.

I liked American Dad, but probally much more than I would had it been airing the last couple weeks.

First time Cleveland Show ever made me laugh (the farting).

What was up with Family Guy? That show was all over the place. Peter on jury duty would be funny enough for a whole episode, but it just went all over the place. Jury Duty, End of the world, Peter not liking the kids. It’s like they had three different writers with three ideas they couldn’t get off the ground for a whole episode then Seth hired a fourth writer to string those three incomplete storylines into one show.

Part of it were very funny, but it was all over the place

Quagmire said he had some part-time work in the background at a bachelor party in American Dad. I was really hoping he’d be there.

I liked FG up to the point where the April Fool’s joke ended. Too many plots with none of them really going anywhere. The crystal meth joke didn’t do much for me.

I thought Cleveland was ok, but fart jokes? Really? Too much.

American Dad was ok, of course you knew Roger would screw up. I guess Rogers imitation of movies is getting old to me. That was really some violent overkill on the dirty cop’s head.

The Simpsons had me. I loved all of it.

“One envelope marked ‘bribe’…empty” Hahaaaa! The asshole look on his face as he took the money.

The final punch line was funny. Mostly a pretty “meh” episode, but a few good laughs.

“I wasn’t talking about your teeth.”
“Nor was I.”

Saw that one coming a mile away. :stuck_out_tongue:

Cleveland Show is so bad. :frowning:

American Dad was okay I guess…

FG should have stuck with the jury duty story line. The meth stuff was funny though. Ripping the eye out was a bit too graphic for me. I can handle ANYTHING that doesn’t involve the eyes.

I saw the Simpsons too. Those guys were assholes to Smithers. The episode sucked all the way through.

So did I. I thought this one was very, very funny. There wasn’t much to the Bart and Lisa story other than the joke about organ transplants, but I thought it worked pretty well. I thought the ransacking of Burns’ mansion was great. Would Burns display stolen art? Of course he would. And I loved his reaction to his cellmate. If anything I wanted to see more of that, and more of Smithers trying to run the power plant. I thought Burns being knocked down by the camera flash and changing the weather in his story also worked very well.

I loved Sideshow Bob’s cameo when Snake pulled him out of the washer and threw him into the dryer. I had half-expected to see him in the episode. It’s too bad Kelsey Grammer wasn’t available for some dialogue the way that Joe Mantegna was for Fat Tony’s appearance.

“That was just my pre-evil.”

That was… yeah. But I meant his response to finding out the guy went to Princeton and U. of Virginia.

That was the best part.

It’s amazing how many times The Shawshank Redemption has been parodied. And I’ve never seen it!

the sucking out of evil is green mile.

and when mr. burns said “pre-evil” i was shocked. that was a bit beyond the pale. think how many kiddies across the nation are going to have that uncomfortable lightbulb moment in about 3 years.

Eh. I didn’t really think of it as a sex joke.

Simpsons: Twas boring for me, I was hoping for Sideshow Bob and not a bad Green Mile Parody.

Family Guy: I miss Family Guy bieng random and stupid. They are bad now that they have coherent plots and are the “pop culture critiquers of America.” Watching old FGs is fun because they were Random and Stupid with no real point…now they are just…sad.

Cleveland Show: Usually love Cleveland, but not this ep. Then again I don’t like fart jokes…so it just wasn’t my ep. Can’t win em all eh?

American Dad: Usually love this one too, but not this ep. 0-4 this week.

I’m still not sure it was meant as one.
