It’s 4-day Weekend for Our Sins pt. 8. Don’t worry about holding off on quest stuff, just make sure you don’t hit Do It for Harvest Carrots at Cletus’ farm until you have a newly started crop of corn.
You can only get golden eggs by winning them in pink or blue boxes. There’s no other way to get them.
You don’t lose any eggs by putting out a basket. You get 400 eggs once the basket is filled up by your friends, so it’s very much to your advantage to put out a basket.
The prizes in the pink and blue boxes are slightly different depending on what your common egg is. You can only win 300 golden eggs in your non-common color and so forth.
I have about 12,000,000 saved up so 45,000 doesn’t seem like much any more.
On a technical note, I’ve got a new Nexus 5 running KitKat. I keep getting crashes from the software that I don’t see when I’m using my Kindle Fire. Anyone else having that problem?
Anyone else like to see one of the snakes in the town strike out and kill the rabbits? Maybe see a snake coil up over a rabbit, and eventually gulp it down?

Do you get more Easter fences if you win them in the gold box than you would in one of your blue/pink boxes?
They are different fences. The ones you win from the pink/blue box are railing fences and the gold box ones are a hideous pastel color. You always get three.
I didn’t know it was possible, but this event both sucks and blows.
I traded loads of my common blue eggs for the uncommon pink ones, saved up enough for a box and got… 3 fences. Now if the blue box also gives 3 fences then that sucks donkey balls.

I wouldn’t mind getting 50 fences. 15 donuts would be sweet. (pun intended)

Today i went through my entire neighbors list.
With all that tapping, i got a little over 400 eggs. Not even enough to get one blue egg present.
So, then. I go to my town and squish about 20 bunnies. I don’t sit on the game all day, but lets say I can play long enough to kill 100 bunnies. That’s one prize a day from the common egg list.
And most of those prizes suck.
What is the point of this? To piss off everyone? I don’t even see a way to buy your way out of this with donuts.
Anyone enjoying this one? How?
It’s not bothering me one bit, but then I don’t expect one prize/day. It’s better than the neon putrid green water from St. Pat’s Day.
I don’t expect to get a prize a day. I do expect to see that it is possible for me to get all the prizes, even if there is a reasonable chance I’ll miss some. With this one, it looks like a lot of effort for almost no chance of getting even half the prizes.
This is what is bugging me. I don’t need a prize a day. Hell, i would be fine with one prize for the whole thing, provided that if you made an effort to play everyday, you would get the prize. I’d be fine with zero prizes if i could enjoy the bird chirping and the easter decorations without feeling like I had to crush every rabbit I saw.
This is just pointless. I have traded in 1000 blue eggs for 200 gold eggs. Whoopie. A third 500 eggs went for an egg ornament of some sort. Very small, and I have mistaken it for a rabbit twice.
There is no fun or enjoyment here. This is pure drudgery. I know I don’t have to play… But that is the point. The little events should make you want to play the game more, not less. I have been playing less since this event started. Killing bunnies is fun for a minute or two, but when you realize what you are getting out of the effort, it seems like pissing in ocean to make the water level go up.
I don’t mind it, I do enjoy the seek and destroy aspect of the bunnies.
For prizes I got one set of fences, and a few chests of golden eggs. I was certain I’d get a set of pastel fences from the gold egg box, but luckily I got the Banana Dictatorship.
This is my third day of the update and I have not found one basket in my town yet. Lots of people are saying they receive them from time to time when tapping bunnies, but none for me.
I am Team Pink and I am just tonight going to get enough eggs for my first blue basket. That doesn’t bode well for me getting all the prizes, especially given that you get repeats of prizes.
I did at least get 10 donuts in my MB today, so that was nice.
I don’t care if I get all the prizes personally, but I don’t like that it seems unlikely to be able to, despite my frequent tapping. I don’t think that’s good.
Plus Easter is tomorrow. I’m not going to be wanting to tap bunnies on Monday, much less a month from now.
I have yet to get a free basket either, so there is at least one other person out there that shares your luck.
What is your MB, your mystery box? Man, donuts in a mystery box would be nice. I got 3 shrubs the last time.
Oh well.
If you haven’t found a basket yet, make sure you check your inventory and see if there’s one in there. I haven’t noticed the majority of my baskets (I’ve only gotten five so far) until I checked my inventory and saw them in there.
Banana Dictatorship is probably the easiest “good” prize you can get. There’s no minimum number of eggs to collect before hand (besides the 500 golden eggs to buy the box in the first place) and it’s something like a 17% chance.
