I have none of the rebate items. What should I get? Do any of them unlock characters or initiate quests?
Yay my corn is done! Now my understanding is that when your crops come up, your friends can click on them multiple times, and every click gives you the same amount of money. So you get 45,000 for clicking it, but if 5 of your friends click it first you get 45,000 each plus once for your own click.
Is this true? If it is feel free to get clicking on my corn! I need a popsicle skyscraper!
I am nutrimatic in the game btw. My corn is in the lower left corner of my Springfield.

12-hour build for first building.
I hope it has a lot of new items. I believe I already have every Christmas item from previous Christmases.
I really need to upgrade my phone. I miss you guys and this game. 
I am doing some shopping this week. I think I have chosen a phone, I just have to call my provider and negotiate a good deal.
This is like a 650 meg update. I don’t know if my phone is going to handle it. Keeping fingers crossed.

After building the Santa’s workshop, there is a 4 hour task for Homer and another for Lisa. Marge has a 16 hour task in her list that pays out in presents as well but I didn’t see that on other characters. Bart probably does but if so, I missed it.
You also collect presents in friend’s towns.
Damn it. I was just about to dynamite the whole thing and start over. My town is a mess.
Does anyone have a convenient link to a list of available Xmas prizes? I want to know what new stuff I can actually earn since I have all the old Xmas stuff.
I completed the two tasks with Homer and Lisa and after that, there are quests (like with the Stonecutters) to go on to earn the daily reward. I had a couple 45 second and 5 minute quests and I currently have Apu on a 4 hour task which will be followed up by another quest for him.
There is also an elf tunnel that needs to be built. The elves build and deliver presents.
So far, it’s a decent start.
There is so much. Some new lights. Info is trickling in slowly because it caught everyone off guard, coming it as it did on the wrong day at the wrong time.
You earn presents and after so many, you earn a prize, which all appear to be new. You also complete Stonecutters-like tasks for different, new prizes. Much of the regular “buy stuff” menu is old stuff, but there are a couple new things.
So far it looks fairly do-able. You have to average about 600 presents a day, but the more you play the more presents you can earn per day. Elfs generate presents and they’re part of the prize packages.
Martin’s episode tie-in skin is awesome.
