Rumors, and I mean pure rumors, are that you will still have a chance to get Clownface and other prizes in the next issue. Then again, I have no idea.
I have all 3 prizes from issue 1 and am now hoarding criminals to get a start on the next round.
I do believe that the criminals are changing their appearance as well and will look like Clownface henchmen after this changeover. That should help those of us who keep trying to tap Legs and Louie.
Man, am I way behind on the carbon rod collecting. I think I need more friends. Has anyone updated the list lately? My Origin ID is “maxwelltorque”.
You can only tap on criminals in 30 neighboring towns per day. I think you keep getting rods for tapping phones but that is only 3 per neighbor.
I don’t understand how people are so far ahead of me. I’ve been tapping pretty often the last few days.
That was my biggest problem with this decision. I had already shut up Homer. I don’t need an air raid siren every hour (took a few to figure out where the noise was emanating from).
It appears you can’t move on to Issue Two until you unlock Clownface.
Should get Clownface today. Like the event but not looking forward to Mr Teeny sitting unused in the top corner for over a month…
Right? I mean, people are usually ahead of me some - I’m not going balls out to maximize my taps or anything, and I only have a certain number of friends because eventually it gets kinda boring, but I’m WAY behind on this one, it feels like.
Same here. I’m not a set the alarm player, but I usually aim for getting all but the last thing of every update. It seems like a long slog getting to 18500 (that is a lot of effin’ carbon rods) to get Clownface.
I just noticed something last night when I upgraded my headquarters. It said I get “extra Hand of Justice Power.” Does anyone know what that is or what it does?
Ok, I found out my answer.
Basically we are the Hand of Justice and as you level up your headquarters your “tap radius” for catching criminals increases. I must have missed that bit of dialogue.
I like the rainbow wigs on the crooks, both for the humor and quality of life improvement (ended up getting clownface this morning)
Even with the rainbow hats, I’m still bashing the crap out of Legs, Louie, Father Sean, the French waiter - Hell, even Fat Tony gets it sometimes
For me the worst offender was Jimbo. I set him on his 24 hour task, but that was even worse, since now he was moving quickly outside.
has anyone else noticed a bug with how you fight felons? An hour or two ago, I set Homer to fight a felon, then just now I set Burns to fight a felon. I clicked on Homer to see how long he had, and it said he had the full 4 hours left. I’m not sure if it’s a display bug, or if I’ll actually have to wait the extra hour.
I saw that too, also for Homer/Pieman. I didn’t stay up long enough to verify which situation it was but an actual timing bug is more likely. All I can think of is that I quit or changed zones after I sent Homer but before he reached the Felon. I think I noticed after logging back in an hour or so later and it was 3:58 left.
I swear I send my people to fight a felon more than three times. Do they lose? Like so you have to battle the felon a fourth time maybe? I can’t say for sure it’s happening, but it feels like it’s happening.
You need 4000 pies a day to make it through all the prizes by issue 3.

When I play, all felons look alike, and you can have more than one felon “in play”. Right now, I have Spider-Pig, Pieman, and Fallout Boy fighting three separate felons.
I like how all of the criminals resemble Smithers. It makes me think that he has a second job as a thug for Fat Tony.
For the Felons, I’m having Plopper (3 hrs - had to purchase him) and Fallout Boy (4 hrs) tackle them, and have Clownface doing his 4 hr task, and Pieman doing his 8 hr task. All have pies as rewards.
Am I missing anything? Does anyone else have a pie task? How can I get Fruit Bat Man (Burns?)
