Well it’s definitely a back and forth kind of thing.
What I did was while watching tv in the evenings, during commercials, I’d check the progress of all the ingredients and add people to the task whenever some were needed. You build some for a bit and then build up some other one and go back and forth and eventually max out whichever one I was targeting and then spend all of that on upgrades until I was out or needed a different ingredient.
It takes a while but you get there eventually.
Well I got this weeks monorail do-hickey done and got the 20 dognuts.
Inching closer and closer.
I realized today that I only have 3 Deluxe Condos but Springfield Heights buildings don’t show up as choices to build. I did finish upgrading the Exclusive Resorts but now I’m stuck without the choices available to build more.
IIRC, the resorts give very little real estate value compared to the other upgradeable buildings, even though they take so many yoga mats to build.
I think you must be missing more than than, another 7 fully upgraded Deluxe Condos only gets you another 83.3M if my math is right.
If you have 10 fully upgraded Deluxe Condos, Mansions, Valet Parking, Business Centers, and Modern Mansions, it should be worth approx 1.17B.
In case anyone missed the teaser from EA, a new event is coming and people are assuming tomorrow. So keep your Homer and Lisa (at least) free, or easily sped up or on shorter tasks. Nothing is more annoying in-game than new content an hour after you put them on 24-hour tasks that you can’t cancel.
New event update is out. Sci-fi-y and black holey.

I’m used to my Kindle being a day behind in updating this game, but it’s frustrating not knowing which characters to leave free for when the update hits. I’ve had them all free all day today. I could hunt it down on one of the blogs, but I can’t be arsed to do that tonight. Minor annoyance. I just feel like griping.
It’s odd that the round is all about black holes but they don’t acknowledge at all that I already had a black hole in my Springfield from like a year ago

But really the monorail event is still going. They need to stop overlapping events.
Is the monorail event an event? I think it’s an ongoing thing like Springfield Heights and Maggie at the PlayDoh factory.

But I just completed this weeks stuff and got the 20 donuts at the end with the last weekly prize. Honestly I hope it’s an ongoing thing. 20 donuts a week would be awesome.
I’s having a question. All, or all the ones I’ve checked, of the adults have a 60 minute quest to “Buy Milk” Yet the only quests chains I have are for the current Sci-Fi event. What’s up with that?

Maybe a Daily Task?
Another 20 donuts for me. Hopefully it’s a forever thing. The monorail was giving 5 donuts a week since the end of the actual monorail event but it was extremely difficult to get, time-wise. Pretty amazing if they make it this easy to get the donuts and keep it at 20/week.
Yeah, that’s what it turned out to be. I didn’t even think to look there. Well, now I know for next time something like this happens.
That would be so cool. The reason I’ve been keeping on top of it and keeping chars. free is because I thought it was a limited event, but like others have said, it might not be and if that’s the case then I can free up some chars. to work on the Sci-Fi event. Which would be bitchen.
So thinking about downloading this game. How is it, fun? Can I play pretty well without having to spend money?
Yes you can play just fine without money. It is very hard to play without friends, though, so go through this thread and find people to add.
If you like The Simpsons it is very The Simpsons with their exact humor and animation. That is pretty cool!
You missed the Cthulhu event (not one of my favorite ones though).
It is easy to get max friends if you use one of the websites and either post your name or add people from the list.
If you don’t spend any money all you’ll miss out on is Premium characters and building and decorations. I can’t think of anything Premium that was actually needed to complete quests or continue the story.
I spent money early on but I haven’t in the last year or two.
Now would be a good time to start as they just started a Sci-Fi event and it’s planned to go for a month and there are new characters and new costumes you can earn through the event without spending any money.
