I was surprised to see how far away I was from Sgt Skinner today with just 2 hours to go. I play about as much as Drunky Smurf. I also don’t get the individual robots after I clear the town. Well sometimes I grab a few but I figure I am blasting them all 2-3 times a day, there can’t be many more.
Oh well.
I got him late last night but it was close. Friend visits are mostly worthless. Also the robot drops are weird.
Tip: go to the crafting screen and select to pay parts to upgrade your level when you don’t have enough. Then select the second option to “do it,” or whatever. It will pick a random robot. It’s a few more steps than other events but works.
By chance I woke up around midnight but before the act ended. I got to within 350, and that took his donut price down to 30 donuts, so I just spent the donuts. I figured it was a good price for a playable character.
So I got up a bit early to do some Simpsoning. Act 2 has started and I am pleased with the prizes being offered. Hopefully I can get them all this time.

I also play on my Kindle so I may have been a day or so behind but I also didn’t realize there was a new event until I read it here and then I forgot about it that night so I didn’t update until the next day.
So yeah, I started several days late and that’s probably what did me in, and not playing enough.
I played soon after the level dropped, but I hardly have been grinding. Some days I log in just once, maybe twice. I think I missed a day or two entirely. I did get Sgt Skinner, but within 36 hours of the act ending. Usually if I play hard I get bonuts for a few days.
So maybe I got lucky with robots?
It looks like Act II is going to require a lot of grinding. Granted, it’s early, but I’m only halfway to getting the first prize. It seems that as often as I play, I should be closer.
There is a glitch to watch out for, if you are into that sort of thing, where some neighbors will give you 30 chronons when you visit. The neighbor at least seems to need to have the premium ‘digi ben,’ but there may be other requirements. If you keep popping back in, you keep getting the 30 items… but apparently it does stop eventually.
I wasn’t able to log in last night, like around 1 am. I forgot about it and just tried to log in again and still can’t.

I actually just visited your town, ZipperJJ. It’s still there, but I think I left my wallet if you come across it.
I couldn’t get on at one point last night on my tablet but then I got on with my phone. I thought that was odd.
One thing I noticed about robot tapping is that using the poly vac clears them all out. I end up with the game just sitting there by the vac so I can tap the robots before I run the vac.

The vac gives full credit for the robots, right? I always get 80 of each item when I run it.
