Without the H I couldn’t tell what you were talking about.
Got a fleet of them in storage, waiting for the day when owning one brings wealth and fame.
I acquired the Simpson’s Future Home this morning ahead of schedule. Only because of two daily tasks for 1100 chronons. I think the only way I’ll finish the prize track is if I get that daily task every day.
Also, they fixed the payout glitch for the stock car race. I’ve been betting on the last car every time in hopes of getting the $2,500,000 payout. It hit this morning, but for just $250,000.
Reading the calendars, it feels tight, this act. I do get in 2-3 times a day and visit friends most days but I feel I’m never going to get far enough ahead that I’ll have a buffer or down time. I’ll probably get it all, but it’s going to be a lot of work.
Blech.
Has anyone else noticed that when you go to a town with both the Twonicorn and the other horse (I forget its name) that they’re always hanging out together? They don’t seem to randomly stroll the town but stick side by side.
Is the other horse Furious D? I have that one. But I don’t know what the Twonicorn is.
For Act 2 I just got the Kwik E Mart. Two prizes to go, four days. I agree it’s going to be tight.
Furious D and the Twonicorn have a 16 hour job together.
OH, they have a job! That explains it. I thought twonicorn was NPC. Thanks!
Maybe it’s just that I’ve been playing too long, but this whole robot story seems really dull and unengaging. Let’s send the robots into the past!!! Wait 8 hours. Okay they’re back now!!! Umm ok

I’m 1600 chronons away from President Lisa with 9 hours to go. I’m disappointed that I won’t be able to finish Act 2 properly. I’m not going to spend donuts on this one. This event overall has been the most difficult one, as far as completing things, in the three years I’ve been playing.
I worked harder on Act 2 than I did on Act 1 and I am going to end up about 4000 short of the final prize where in Act 1 I was 3000 short.
I still logged in 2-3 times a day this time, but instead of just doing the SciFighter, I first went through and collected all robots (using the “do it” button trick) and then used the fighter. Since the fighter clears all the robots out of your town i assumed I would double the number of robots if I collected them manually first. Nope. I also didn’t miss any days of visiting my friends even though I had to stay up until 2 AM to do it.
Oh well. At least the final pieces are just characters. I prefer buildings.
Yeah, it’s frustrating. I checked out the comments on the tstofriends blog, and people are talking about how they finished the prize track yesterday, the day before, or even 3 to 4 days ago, and now they’re in the bonuts stage. They say they play 3-4 times a day. I just don’t know how that’s possible. That’s how often I play, and I’m going to be several hundred chronons short. A lot of them mentioned how they bought one of the premium characters that produce event currency. But a lot of them day they didn’t do anything like that and they found it easy to get Lisa. It’s like I’m missing a key component to the event or something.
I’d say I logged in three times at day, at least four hours apart, and visited friends daily, did my daily tasks. I won Lisa last night and just stuck her on the tasks that popped up and took the day off for the most part. It was glorious. I won’t get bonuts, but I did get the last prize. I feel on track for at least one of all the craftables, even though the pieces needed for the one I’m waiting for now is 2000. Ouch.
So we’ll have … what, two more weeks for act iii? Maybe a couple days off and roll into Halloween?
I won’t be getting Lisa, but oh well.
…I’ve found this to be the easiest event ever. I missed a day of tapping and still got Lisa with a day to spare. Unlike the superhero game (where it took an insuferable amount of time just to load each battle before I could hit the "quickbattle button to end it) this task takes no time at all. I login, play SciFighter, send the Homers off on their task, then log off. All done in a minute. No premium characters. No chasing robots. No using exploits. I play 4 times a day. It takes longer to load the game than it does to play it. I don’t even visit my friends towns (sorry friends!) because I only have about 12 friends and 8 of them aren’t active any more.
I don’t normally bother with the crafting track: but this time I’m a quarter of the way to getting Homers Dream House (which I should get tomorrow) and I’m done. And I’ve got so many future bucks I’m gonna buy a whole heap of new land just to build my new sci-fi town.
I think the key is just to not try too hard and just to play the game consistently four times a day.
I got Lisa late this past weekend and wound up getting enough for three donuts in the bonuts round. I usually hit the game 4 times a day but this seemed really close. I did not get Sgt Skinner the last time around and I typically get to the end of these bits a few days ahead of the end. Not this event though, it seems.
So which is it? ![]()
Anyone else not getting in this afternoon?
I’ve had no problems today
I had a hard time getting on and staying on, but it’s better now. This last act is ONLY SEVEN DAYS LONG. Plan accordingly. I figured I should point it out because they’re never that short.
…It takes less than a minute to login, play scifighter and set the Homer’s on their tasks. So four minutes a day really isn’t trying hard. ![]()
