I was VERY disappointed to discover that the Future Bucks Conversion Pack creates Future Bucks from Robot parts, NOT the other way around.
I’ve got almost $19K in FB - don’t need any more, thank you

I’m not sure if I’m going to get the last craftable. It’s so expensive and there are so few days left.
Aha!
So the Springfield Heights buildings weren’t showing in my store, hence my consternation (at least hence some of it). They’re still there, they’re just shuffled around:
For non-click-aroonies, there is a yellow arrow showing when you open the store, put your arrow on and pull my finger. Wait, put your finger on the arrow and pull it right.
There, that ought to hold the SOB’s
Me neither. I still haven’t got costingtons. Going to be a haul. I will get the main prizes though.
And this is dumb. Not you, Labtrash, the policy. Who the hell needs more future bucks? What, to buy more junk that you’re just going to keep in storage?
I have like 30 robot parts and have to have 3k to get the Homer House thing and four days to do it. It’ll be the first prize since that shitty Easter event where I won’t win all the prizes if I can’t come up with 2970 robot parts. I don’t care that much, and if I’m close I might donut it, but it annoys me because I’ll doing fine on the main prizes. Craftables should have been a bit easier.
I can’t help but notice that my Springfield Heights did not catch on fire. Of course, that may mean that even 20 years in the future, I still have not completed building it.
To make matters worse, they just took all of my Alternate Homers for NON crafting-part tasks !
I need 1000 robot parts! WTF ?!?!
…I’m not getting why you and others are struggling. This has been the easiest Craftables I’ve ever played on Tapped Out. I noticed early that there was an easy path to the final prize and that was to just focus on getting to the next crafting level: don’t buy anything else outside of that goal. I’ve never finished the craftables before: I often don’t even bother because the craftable rules were so often convoluted.
I got Homer’s House last night and the third prize early this morning. It took three days of tapping (from memory) to get Homers House for me (four times a day) : you should breeze in before the end of the event.
I only craft enough to move to the next level. The drop rate is not very good in my town. It’s an issue for everyone this event. I know I’m playing enough because I got the prizes. So clearly it’s a robot pieces. I will get very close but I don’t think I’ll make it. I have no interest in having my phone on 24 hours a day to get a shitty prize I don’t want.
I get about 30 robots per … whatever that mini game thing is. 3 times a day mostly, sometimes 4. I get a few robots here and there, went through all my friends’ towns looking for cubes. Mathematically it’s just not enough.
The EA forums are down and have been for a few days. Sometimes when very active players are struggling, drop rates increase. Since we can’t complain there, they might not be aware of any issues.
I’m screwed on the Homer house. Need 2500 parts in the next day and a half.
You get all the likes.
I did complete act 3 and get Homer’s dream future house so yay. I didn’t get Skinner from Act 1 but I did OK on the other two acts.
I updated and am back to basic Springfield. Apparently, the sci fighter game stays as a mini-game. I’m curious to see what the payoff is.
Garbage and devices, but can’t exceed production limits.
New mini update today for anyone (like me) who was taking a break from the game.
Sigh.
This’ll lead right into Halloween, I bet. I needed a break. Hopefully I can breeze through this one early and buy myself some time that way.
I’m starting to get nervous for Halloween. I am so tired of 3 act crafting events. I’d love a simpler format with good content. And to be able to send the kids trick or treating again without buying stuff to make that happen.
I wonder if Halloween “comes early” this year in TSTO like it does on the show - October 16. I have no idea why it’s not on the 23rd, other than the 16th is also the show’s 600th episode, but in that case, why not show a repeat on the 16th? (October 30 is World Series Game 5, so that’s out of the question.)
I just watched the episode this mini-event is based. It makes a lot more sense now.
The new Lard Lad is ugly. I’ll likely store it.
Anyone still working on Springfield Heights, log on for the next few days. The payouts for materials have quadrupled.
I first thought there was no way I was going to be able to get to the last prize before time was up but I made it the second to last prize last night so it looks like I’ll probably get the last prize by Sunday.
