The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Like San Antonio, TX, Springfield apparently is located in a place where winter is done by late-January… back to the usual “skin”, no more snow and ice, everything all green again.

I know I’m going to jinx this, but it’s been nice not having an event going on these past few days…
…wait for it…

Groundhog Day!

8 hour Springfield Heights tasks? Nein danka.

You know it’s really not appropriate to be having stupid loser homeless Gil insulting you.

Gil, go screw your park bench.

I’m still building the heights, so I find it useful to put characters on 8-hour tasks while sleeping.

That’s a good point. I finished building it when they had the bonus available a few months ago so I am done with it.

I hope there is one soon. It’s what I do during commercials on TV.

I was enjoying the snow; I still haven’t gotten used to all the green again.

I finally finished the money mountain. I’m glad I did because it gives Burns jobs that payout way more than even a premium character. It’ll take awhile to recoup what I spent building the mountain, but that’s alright with me.

I also started using the eight hour jobs on the production buildings. Even though I’ve already surpassed the one billion threshold, they added more land to purchase behind the mountain range and you can buy it only with lattes, pills, etc.

update hit today. Mini event, I think. A few things for sale, mostly premium

For anyone who cares, the tickets I was collecting a few weeks ago before I started my Krustyland, were in my bank when I started it yesterday.

Double-tap, disregard.

New event dropped today. App store update.

It’s ok. So far.

I always start playing these events with no idea what is going on! I just do the things they say.

One thing that is cool is that you can collect a lot of stuff from neighbors this time. 500 or 600 reward thingies is the cutoff. Last event it was 30. Also I think you get stuff from friends tapping in your town.

So everyone get to traveling!

Call me clueless, but I have no idea how to get past my current $172 million in Springfield Heights. I have 1 of each building (mansions, business centers, etc), fully upgraded and that, as far as I can tell, is that.

Any suggestions?

You can, and should, build multiples of each.

This event is some Carmen Sandiego stuff. Geography is for a dorcus malorcus.

I don’t see where I have the option of building multiple mansions… ?

You should be able to go to the Store and then click on the Heights area of the store (represented by a brick sign) and in there you’ll find all the Heights related stuff you can buy, with Heights currency (pills, yoga mats, etc). In there will be all the mansions, business centers, parking decks etc. They will have blue numbers next to them letting you know how many you have and how many you can buy, like “1/10”.

No?

I’m addicted to simpsons. I’ve been watching them for years. Love love love
