I crashed about 8:30 last night, then woke up at midnight thirty and tossed and turned a bit. Eventually, I fell back to sleep, with several waking moments, and when Higgs started barking about 5:30, I got up. Single digit temps here with a warm-up promised. We should see mid-40s by the afternoon - yay!
I got an email that my microwave is ready for pickup. If we time it right, we can get breakfast, then swing by Sears and get it. Sure hope it installs on the same bracket as the one we have - that would make things so easy!
So it looks like that’s the big plan for the day.

Sears has pissed me off! I showed up to get my microwave, and the clerk disappeared in to the back for about 10 minutes, only to return and say it would be on the next truck this afternoon. Then WHY did I get an email saying it was ready for pickup???
Plus my order status now says that I picked it up.
When I go back there, they’d better have it for me. I am not amused. I’ve already sent off one email. More will follow.

Except their vacuum cleaners – they blow. If you buy anything except tools on sale at Sears, you are making a mistake.

The microwave is a GE, not Kenmore. And what ticks me off - I ordered it thru KMart, expecting to pick it up there. But no, they had to send it to Sears… KMart sucks, too!

Just in case anyone wants someone else to grump at, it was so sunny here today that butterflies were out! That’s about a month early!
You have no idea how pleasant it was today to walk into the football stadium, get my final pay and end of job paperirk and… leave. Especially the last but.
I never have to go back! 
Well… Maybe next week because he forgot I was returning a tie, so he owed me money back for that :rolleyes: It’s only a few quid though, so if I don’t get round to it, no biggie.
I’ve declared today a vegetate day for the most part (do need some minor groceries). I’m very tired, been super-stressed lately (no, DH STILL does not have a job!), and I think I’m coming down with something. I do have homework due tomorrow, and more due Monday), but I have plenty of time on both, so if I don’t HAVE to do anything productive today, I’m not going to!

So Airman and I got a new-to-us car today. His grandfather no longer drives, so we got his car. I had to meet his uncle at the title service office, where it cost $389 to transfer the title and get a new plate. The same transaction at the actual PennDOT office would have been a third that. Ouch.
