I can’t find where the buggers are getting in, I think I’m going to have to pull out the stove.
The only good thing is so far they have not gotten into the food in the cabinets. I found a little pile of dog food in the corner so they must be going for that. I’m afraid if I take up the dog food though they will start getting in the cabinets.
**Robyn **- did they just give you the car? In that case, $389 is pretty cheap. I assume you didn’t go to the gummint office because it’s Saturday? I always wondered how much of a markup those title places charged.
**sari **- You need to check around all water and drain lines - is your stove gas? The gas line could be another opening. Sounds like it’s time to get a cat.
I’ve got my microwave - finally! We won’t install it till tomorrow. But that’s fine.
Nope. We still have to make payments. This was just to have the title changed over. And PennDOT is open on Saturday. There was no reason not to go there.

Yay!
FCM the stove is electric but there could be a hold back there. Then again it could be behind the dishwasher, that is where my mother finally found the place her mice were getting in.
I know I need to pull out the fridge to, I know they aren’t getting in there, it;s an internal wall but that corner is where I found the little pile of dog food.
Knowing my luck with this if I get a cat it will be the kind who eats the heads and leaves the rest on mu pillow
No, no, no. They don’t eat the heads and leave the body; they eat the body and leave the head.
I don’t know which is worse
Here, we had mice in the garage - they made a nest in one of FCD’s old motorcycle helmets. Then there were the ones that got into the dryer duct - but they’re dead now. So far, none in the house. Of course, I’ve now cursed us…
You do realize they are one and the same?
Meet the new boss, same as the old boss…
Well, they could leave horse heads on the pillow…
Second vote for the feline containment device, deployed in pairs.
I was aware of that. But, oddly enough, the microwave was cheaper on KMart’s site than on Sears’.
It’s now sitting in the house. We’ll install it tomorrow morning. No more heating water for tea in a small saucepan!!!
As long as you have at least one cat, you have the best natural mouse elimination system in the world. That’s what they’re for.
Terriers can be good at that, too, if one prefers dogs to cats.
I think it’s time to recline till bedtime.
MWAH!
Home from a yearly meeting. At a Hoss’s just outside Pittsburgh, our waiter turned out to be from a family I knew back in the mountains. Got to call his Gramma this week and hash over old times. My wife (rightly) says you can’t take me anywhere without running into someone I connect with. Screw Kevin Bacon – with me it only takes 4 steps at most.
Made Tex-Mex meatballs for the tailgate tomorrow, tonight it’s Chipolte BBQ chicken with tequila lime rice and poblano corn. Watching hockey on the PC.
Nettie, Gordie is a terrier. But he prefers to hunt bugs.
Yay for a new nuker, Moooommmmmm!!!. suck that it took so long to get it.
Indeed, you are far, far too Panglossian in your remarks.
Gentlemen,
Ladies, note the Gentlemen, although I use the term loosely.
Rosie, other Ladies, do not read this post. Fairy Chat, meh.
Mrs. Plant (v.3.0) was amused that one of the web sites she frequents urged her to “set your cock back this evening.”
Gentlemen, we need to get busy!
I assured Mrs. Plant that she already had, thanks.
Last time I ate at Hoss’s was with Dave. It was the last meal we shared together. The thought of going there again makes me ill.
RT and I just finished watching Patch Adams and Imitation of Life. Now it’s almost time for bed.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 36 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 72 for the day and sunny. I made myself get up and act like it’s an irk mornin’ just to adjust my haid to the idea. I hates the change to DST!
I was AWOL durin’ the day yestiddy. We pretty much spent the day bein’ lazy. Sometimes ya just gotta do that.
Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and at some point need to feed rumbly tummy. Also at some point purtification for deheathenization shall commence. I have ush duty this mornin’.
