Whoops, sorry- Fresh Sheets and Tentacle Monster have informed me here that I got an oil burner, not an incense burner. It’s still awesome, though!

I feel like I owe an apology to my Secret Santa, so whoever you are (if it hasn’t been revealed already), I’m really really sorry. 
As Shirley Ujest has said, I have been away on a mis… I mean, on holiday, and I only just got back. Since then I have been swamped at work (read: taking care of loose ends 
), so I haven’t had time to post in Dope.
I have, however, gone to the post office. They were supposed to hold my mail from me, and they left me a nice little card saying that a parcel was awaiting me, but the guy at the counter couldn’t find it for me, and told me to come back again. They are apparently pretty disorganized.
So, once again, I’m sorry. I’ll keep harassing the post office (and their families) until I get my SS gift.

Finally! I thought I’d never get it to you. I was going to go with USPS but started a new job last week and devoted a ton of time to it. So I ponied up the dough to send it UPS to keep it from becomming an Easter present. :eek: Again, I can’t apologize enough for being so late.
Now for the uses. It’s (marketed as) a potpourrie burner. Not sure about incense but I can see using oil in it. Hell, burn whatever’s in the garbage disposal, I just hope you like it. Being almost 3 weeks late, I feel kinda bad it wasn’t something earthshaking, but maybe next year? 
I really do hope you enjoy it, though. I was nervous about your mom being sensitive to strong scents and wasn’t sure you’d even be able to use it.
I’ve still not received my gift. Oh, well. I’ll blame the post office and be looking forward to Christmas on Valentine’s Day.

Sami, I received my gift and thank you so much! I’m sorry I haven’t posted sooner, but it arrived early last week. We’ve been having problems with our post office not delivering mail, but that’s another story. Anyway, I really liked the mugs (especially since they were full of chocolate!) and listened to the CD last night – pretty good stuff.

Seriously, my SS must’ve have spent ages packing it (note: it is fragile), thus the enormous amounts of bubble-wrap. Inside a beautiful Native American clay plate. :eek:
