Howdy Y’all! Home from Evening Prayer over to the church house. ‘Twas nice as usual. Dindin was really good tonight. I think I must have really had a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for sausage 'n N.O.T. casserole.
{{{BigKitty}}} sometimes ya just have to give in and take care of yourself.
We drove to Hot Springs to buy a 90 gallon drilled tank for $100. The guy who sold it helped us load it.
At home, we can’t get the damn thing out of the SUV. I’ll have to pay someone from work to help us.
dammit.
I did buy a used $300 skimmer and a sump from the fish store for $60.
Christ, my back hurts from picking that sucker up. 48" x 18" x 23" and the glass is 1/2" thick.
He lesson in art this week is about photography and how it’s used to fool the eye at times. So I told him about a girl I used to work with who posed for Playboy magazine and how they made this tiny girl look tall, leggy, and busty by the angle of the shot.
So he’s off to his computer to look at old Playboy magazines from 30-35 years ago to see if he can find her. I don’t even remember her name, never even talked to her.
Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up, caffienated, and purtified, so no YAWN. ‘Tis 73 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 81 for the day and cloudy with a chance of rain. I’ll believe rain when I see rain. Of course, da bear is off to the west forty today so that naturally increases the chance of rain. We’re goin’ to Pearly’s for brekkie this mornin’ as soon as OYKW is ready which should be anytime now. I’s hongry!
Nettie the recipe is in the blog. This is not a recipe for those who desire to count calories but it’s so dang good!
I hear rumblin’s from the bedroom so Pearly’s here we come!
Up and stuffed already. Figured that I’d better sample those brownies (one from each four pans) since I certainly don’t want to poison my brethern at work…
If there is anything more hedonistic that laying in a hot tub of water (I have one of those extra-large whirlpool bathtubs) eating chocolate brownies…well, my heart probably wouldn’t be up to it.
So at work with all 4 baking tins within reach for the next few hours. Temptation…frustration…
Both? It would set you up well for the next several days.
My mother tried scratch-made brownies a couple times. We had to stop her though – nothing would grow in the corner of the farm where we buried them. In her defense, it may not have been a case of poor cooking; just another attempt of hers on my life. :smack:
