I get a whole lot more done when I am trying to avoid what I don’t want to do.
Maybe that is the secret to having a clean house, have that one chore you dread doing.
Howdy Y’all! I survived the week. I don’t irk tomorrow. YAY!!! Plus, tomorrow is payday. Double YAY!!! So I shall celebrate by probably mowin’. 
Burgers and fries for dindin with all the burger fixin’s includin’ bacon fried while I am fully clothed. OYKW shall man the grill whilst I fry bacon and make the fries. Ain’t much better than a bacon/cheeze burger, fries, and an ice cold beerverage or two.
Da bear is now officially hongry!

If you’re fryin’ & baconin’ that’s two things your cooking. Why not make fried bacon, or fries in bacon grease & only dirty one thing?

Whew - home! It’s barely 60° and rainy and windy. At work they passed out Magic Garbage Bags to cover our monitors and keyboards. Because if the hurricane hits hereabouts and tears the roof off our building, the Magic Garbage Bags will protect the monitors. Cracks me up every time I’ve had to do this…
**FCD **has been in the basement all day setting up his new CNC router. He wants to go out for supper, so I won’t be making the N.O.T. soup I’d planned. No complaints from me, tho. I think we’ll do Salsa’s.
Speaking of payday - apparently my pay get deposited the day before payday. Huzzah!! I just transferred some $$ to VISA. But I need to set up my 401k, so I have no idea what future paydays will bring. I’ll be glad when I can figure out my budget.

metal mouse, that depends; can baths with wine and brownies be done long distance and do the brownies have anything herbal in them? 
I’ve heard that brownies can keep for quite a long time. I don’t know this from experience, because in my house they all get eaten quickly.
Currently hanging out on campus before class starts in a little over an hour. This business of doing opening shift, then an evening class on the same day, is a lot tougher than it was half my current age ago, during my last stint as a student. At least I work a later shift tomorrow, so can sleep in (also driving tomorrow, due to bus service issues near irk at the time closing shift lets out).
Irk was not unduly irksome today. Dunno who declared it “haggle week”, though, but I want to superglue the offender’s mouth shut to keep them from doing it again.
Not a clue yet about dinner. It was payday today, so I might splurge a little. Don’t know yet.
Salsa’s was closed for some repairs or something, so we ate at Ledo’s. Meh. At least I didn’t have to do dishes.

To get home from work, I have to drive over the West End Bridge. As fate will have it, so do Steelers fans heading for the game and a lot of the ones just out hitting the bars. So my usual 15 minute trip took 45 minutes because of one crash that required paramedics and another that required paramedics and a fire truck.
Have I ever mentioned that I don’t like the Steelers much?
