I don’t think that Trump or the Republicans are going to go for full blown dictatorship. Although he wants all of the perks of dictatorship Trump doesn’t have the political savy it takes to really pull off a full blown autocracy, and I don’t actually think the Republicans actually want that either.
Dictatorships are bad for buisiness, and aren’t much fun unless you are the guy at the top, what with always involve watching your back. What they want is a heavily corrupt kleptocratic “democracy” where they can keep their cushy jobs funnel as much money as possible from the peasants into their golden parachutes and retain enough power to keep doing that.
If they could keep the gravy train open with fair and free elections they would, but the problem is that the demographics are shifting away from them, Trump and his band of marching morons are the only thing that is keeping them from complete oblivion, so they have to pay lip service to the mad king. Meanwhile they need to use and abuse the power they still have to tilt the system in their favor so they can hang on as long as possible. McConnel doesn’t want to overturn the system he just wants to keep his thumb firmly planted on the right side of the scale.
Because of my strong focus on the China Virus, including scheduled meetings on Vaccines, our economy and much else, I won’t be able to be in New York to throw out the opening pitch for the Yankees on August 15th.

“Highly respected” = I saw him on Fox News and he agrees with me.
“He thinks what we’ve done is really good” = that’s all he needs to get the job.

What FUCK does “neuroradiology” have to do with “infectious diseases and public health”? The problem we have is outside of Dr. Atlas’ expertise. It would be like going to a podiatrist for an eye infection.
Much like Dr. Harold Bornstein, who wrote a glowing letter about Trump’s health, declaring that he only had “positive results”. Wrote it in 5 minutes while waiting in a limo.
Every now and then, some little bit of slime slips out into open view like this letter and we understand how much has been swept under the rug out of view. The Trump cabal is playing for keeps and these are the reasons why.
I’m sure we’ve all suspected Erick Prince, Steve Bannon, Sam Clovis, the Trump spawn and others are deeply involved in illegal activities with Russian and/or pro-Russian Ukrainian oligarchs. It’s life and death for them. It should be life or death for us, too.
