trump also said “we had somebody get on a plane from a certain city this weekend, and in the plane it was almost completely loaded with thugs, wearing these dark uniforms, black uniforms, with gear and this and that.” This is appartently from a conspiracy theory that was posted to Facebook a few months ago. What’s next, trump saying “the Democrat-run deep state is hiding the fact that the Earth is flat”?

Completely off-topic, but my doc recommended (not prescribed) I take one baby aspirin a day for heart attack prevention. I’m 55 and overweight, with high cholesterol and blood pressure, but no strokes of my own or in the family history.
So Trump taking one a day doesn’t necessarily indicate he’s had a stroke, but he’s still a blithering idiot one way or another.
And despite the aspirin, it’s still a painful experience to watch.

Trump tweeted today that he was talking to the commissioner of the Big10 college football conference, twisting their arm to get them to reverse their decision and play this fall despite the coronavirus.
Other conferences (Pac-12, Mountain West…) made the same decision but Trump apparently is less concerned about the hopes and desires of those fans.

The Big10’s footprint covers the battleground states: Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota. The Pac12 and MWC cover states that are solidly blue (California, Oregon, Washington) or solidly red (Utah, Idaho, Wyoming).
