The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making Part Deux (Part 1)

How did they lie?
He is the owner of the building that housed the shop. His business is renting to the shop owner. The building was destroyed. His business was destroyed.

The White House made that clarification after the fact but I’m sure we all know what really matters to Trump’s core audience is what comes out of his mouth at any given time.

Individual 1 opened his Kenosha round table discussion by encouraging attendees to remove their masks.

I suspect she may have actually followed through – but, you know, for her to have done that, Kim would have had to be interested.

your post needs repeating

Hypothetically, I think the worst thing that could happen to a person, if they happened to be an incompetent narcissist in a public position, would be a severe but non-fatal stroke, of the sort that left their muscles semi-functional on one side, the characteristic droopy face look, slurred speech, inability to walk independently, all that sort of thing.

And then get prosecuted.

My wife has fervently wished for Trump to be so afflicted ever since he mocked that disabled reporter in 2015. That would truly be karma.

That would be karmic justice.

President Trump tells Americans they should intentionally commit crimes/voter fraud.

Would you consider it an example of Trump’s general incapacity to master the actual world in which he lives?

Clearly Trump believes no one has ever managed to throw a brick. Because bricks are just too large for human hands, right? (Trump has no idea that many people have hands larger than his own.)

And it’s not just that Trump is ignorant of basic facts about the world; it’s that he obsesses over ridiculous things and neglects important things:

(ibid)
Trump has given this a lot of thought. He’s considered the value of the weapon; how the weapon would be brought to the scene; how it would be deployed; how the user would alibi himself; and how the media would cover for the user.

How much time, comparatively, do you suppose Trump has devoted to the questions involved in keeping Americans safe from COVID-19? (To name but one example.)

Well, he does have small hands. Perhaps he’s never been able to heft a brick.

I did say that I think his cognitive abilities have declined considerably, and I even think they’ve declined very rapidly in the last three years. I just don’t think saying that people are hauling bags of soup is a good example of this. I’ve carried a grocery bag or two of soup in my time.

And it isn’t as if he hasn’t given us plenty of other examples that are far better, including in that response.

True enough.

And fear not, he will give us many more.

Fucking Hell!

When I first saw your link I expected it to be some throw away joke like how they should vote early and often. But here he is actually telling his people to “Test the system”, and because they are idiots a bunch of them are going to follow through on that. For most the system will work and so you’ll have thousands of people committing felonies which Trump will use to bolster his claims that that the system is rigged (everyone of them is a Democrat you know). Meanwhile, a fair number will slip through the cracks boosting Trumps electoral chances.

Finally even if we do catch all of the people are we really going to send thousands of people to jail just because they were stupid enough to believe the president?

Of course he as usual is going to get away Scott free. The FEC is powerless, to do anything, and even if it weren’t what steps could they actually take. By rights for such obvious election fraud he should be knocked off the ballot, but you can’t just hand the presidency to Biden, because Trump behaves like Trump, without resulting in an all out civil war.

Fuckity Fuck Fuck!

And William Barr just left that idea out there by being all “I don’t know” :man_shrugging:t2: .

He said he doesn’t know the laws of a particular state. As if voting twice could be legal somewhere. Yep, just go out there and throw some more disinformation into the mix. I’m sure your boss is proud.

If nothing else, he loses NC but then he can claim that the vote is rigged. Doesn’t matter who tried to do the rigging, rigged is rigged as far as he’s concerned. Like I said on another thread: they’ll turn the election into a circus so that they can selectively claim irregularities and make their power grab.

And of course - if people “clog” the polls by asking if their vote has been recorded, it also benefits Trump

After the last four years? HELL, YES!

I posted tehe AOL news link to this same story in the how has he pissed you off today thread before reading your post.

President Trump has ordered the Office of Budget Management to look into cutting federal funding to cities where he says “weak mayors” are allowing “anarchists” to “harm people, burn buildings, and ruin lives and businesses.”

The official memo sent by Mr. Trump to the OBM chief and Attorney General William Barr on Wednesday accuses Democratic state leaders and mayors in cities including Portland, Seattle, and New York of allowing “persistent and outrageous acts of violence and destruction.”

Mr. Trump said in the memo that Barr should report back within 14 days identifying any “anarchist jurisdictions” where officials “have refused to undertake reasonable measures” to stop violence or property destruction.

He gives OMB acting director Russ Vought 30 days to direct “heads of agencies on restricting eligibility of or otherwise disfavoring, to the maximum extent permitted by law, anarchist jurisdictions in the receipt of federal grants.”

It’s not the first time Mr. Trump has tried to deprive U.S. cities of federal funds for enacting policies he dislikes. There are still court battles playing out over the White House’s efforts to withhold crime fighting funds from cities and states that declare themselves “sanctuaries” for migrants and refuse to hand information over to federal authorities in a bid to protect individuals from deportation or prosecution.

What is there to say?

Former Republican Governor of my state, Michigan, endorses Biden. Not that I have a lot of respect for Snyder, having been involved in his own clusterfuck, the Flint water crisis. But it’s great to see yet another Repub. jumping off the runaway trump train.

I’ll just say this: I’m a small, middle-aged woman and I am capable of lifting and throwing a brick.

Trump is a fucked up, demented, staggering moron.

Also weak, with weak tiny hands.
