The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making Part Deux (Part 1)

yeah especially that nasty Yamiche Alcindor.

GRRRRRRR!!!

That’s all kinds of awesome (Biden’s response to Trump’s promise to STFU once he’d booted out). Zen. Jujitsu.

Well, unless the voter-intimidating protesters turn out is full-dress camo with all the military gear and assault rifles, which apparently they did not – this time.

And yes, of course, it will be very hard for police to deal with the obstructors in just about any way without creating even greater pandemonium, especially if they start firing gas, rubber bullets, flash-bangs, real bullets, or anything.

Individual 1 says $5 billion of the sale of Tik Tok will go towards his 1776 Project reeducation program.

Why the hell would he get any of the money?

If he didn’t expect a cut, he wouldn’t be doing this.

“Re-education”? Are there “camps” involved?

Not for that - but I could see combining the current concentration camps detention centers where immigrants are currently warehoused with mandatory indoctrination education about Amerika.

As for the rest of the populace… not yet, but if he could find a way to force it down our throats, oh yes he would.

“There will be no oil. There will be no God. There will be no guns.”

First Trump claims Biden will “hurt God” and now apparently Biden will somehow destroy or abolish God. Frankly, if Biden is that powerful I don’t think we can afford to anger him by voting for someone else.

Heh. Sleepy, weak, ineffective, loser Joe…is more powerful than God.

What is this, The Rutles?

God, guns and oil. I believe there’s a slogan in there somewhere.

But it is by no means clear that voters needed escorts to get past the protesters. Nor does the story say that the reason for opening another part of the building was “to allow people to get to the ballots.” Nor is there any evidence in the story that they were impeding voters. The videos I’ve seen also don’t make it appear as if they were blocking access.

These people might be assholes—the very fact that they support Trump is pretty good evidence of that—but they were well outside the distance required by law, and nowhere in the story does it say that they were harassing voters or preventing access to polling place. The fact that some voters might have felt uncomfortable due to the presence of the protesters doesn’t mean that the protesters were doing anything wrong. And, as the story says, the extra space was opened up inside simply “to allow voters to wait inside, away from the Trump enthusiasts.”

I’m no hero, no fighter, and no seeker of unnecessary confrontation, but if I were a voter at that polling place, I would have walked straight past them and told them that I was about to cast one of the millions of ballots that would, hopefully, remove their orange clown from the White House.

I would have walked past them, but I don’t tell anyone who I am going to vote for. With a bunch of demonstrators making noise that strikes me as poor judgement.

(uncited - saw this on PBS Newshour last night, but still yet to be posted online) (so far only Isreali papers are sources)

In the bid to further gang up on Iran (the main reason, IMO, for the Israeli-UAE agreement - to further mobilize force against Iran) Pompeo moved to reinstate sanctions Saturday night against Iran, despite a joint statement the next morning from France, the UK and Germany that the US has no authority to do so after withdrawing from the Iran Deal in 2018. The UN is expected not to reinstate the sanctions.

It’s only poor judgment if you really believe that an expression of political difference will lead to violence. My default is to assume that the vast majority of protesters are doing just that: protesting. I don’t assume that all protesters, whether those I support or those I oppose, are looking for a violent confrontation.

I assume that there is a greater risk of violence when the leader they support actively encourages those protesters to be violent.

The fact you have the position you do makes me think that you have never been in the minority, or in the position of facing a crowd that is revving themselves up and is very much against your position. Trump encourages violence. Many of his followers walk around heavily armed and brag about that. Sooner or later this is going to end in blood on the ground and I don’t want to be there when it happens.

I am a small, middle-aged woman. If things do get physical I’m f***ed. I view avoiding Trumpists attempting to block voters much as I view avoiding dark alleys - most of the time you can get away with it, but when you can’t the costs are not worth the risk.

I’m not sure what the protest was about. Is the right against voting now? (I thought they just didn’t want mail in voting except by people like the President and his family)

[T]he overwhelming majority of members in the 15-nation council call the U.S. action illegal because President Donald Trump pulled the United States out of the plan in 2018.

Trump Administration: “Just add it to the pile.”
(sarcasm, too)

Project much?

I guess now we know for certain that someone is giving Trump a great big fat shot of something (Dexedrine, maybe?) in his ass every couple of hours in order to keep him coherent.
