For those of you who don’t want to click on the file in the @asahi link above, it’s a 24-minute voice recording of Stepien and Prince doing a conference call to campaign staffers and, possibly, volunteers (it’s called an all-staff call). Stepien is grim-but-determined while Pence does cheerleading for about 15 minutes of the call (I didn’t listen to all of Pence).
Pretty sure the message being sent is they (Lincoln Project) have other calls, but based on this one, they may not have any high-level calls.
Not just that. The best way to fight the current batch of politically based conspiracy theories is to improve people’s personal situations, i.e. healthcare, economy, etc. But the nature of this batch of conspiracy theories is to have the cultists fight against the very measures that would improve their lot in life!
The Ministry of Truth has issued these photos of Loser Donald “working” in his hospital suite today - in which he is wearing the same suit he had on yesterday, at two different desks in two different rooms but with the same binders in front of him, one in which he is clearly doodling his own name in sharpie on a blank piece of paper.
Reminds me of the official comment when he was first transferred to Walter Reed, “The White House had continued to insist the President ‘remains in good spirits, has mild symptoms, and has been working throughout the day’ in the hours before he traveled to Walter Reed”. The “working throughout the day” comment is what caught my attention. Why would he start now? I would think that this sort of strangely uncharacteristic behavior would be very worrisome! Until he returns to watching TV all morning and playing golf all afternoon I think there is cause for concern.
There are other oddities in that announcement, too, like “'He’s being evaluated by a team of experts, and together we’ll be making recommendations to the President and First Lady in regards to next best steps,’ Conley wrote”. Well that’s a switch! Up to now it’s the orange menace who’s been making all the recommendations – remember hydroxychloroquine? Remember chlorine bleach? UV lights up the ass? Why would this medical genius need advice from anyone?
That just makes it all the stranger that he’s wearing the same suit he wore to the hospital on Friday - I would’ve assumed the pics were taken on Friday in anticipation that his condition might worsen overnight.
Does the presidential suite at Walter Reed not have a change of clothes on hand, or was everyone involved just so completely incompetent that they thought nobody would notice?
I don’t know where the NBC/WSJ poll is rated but it is also reporting that Sleepy Joe is now sporting a 27-point lead among seniors. When break even in that demographic would probably be enough.
Apparently even the olds can finally see through Donald’s bullshit. Is it all finally crumbling, right at the very end?
I’m an old folk, too. Unfortunately, while there’s a lot of us who can see through Donald’s BS, our demographic peers weren’t quite so discerning in '16. I’m very glad that (the collective) we have seen the light just in the nick of time.
The guy wears dark navy suits and white dress shirts every day. I strongly dislike the guy, but I have no reason to doubt that, when they brought changes of clothes to Walter Reed for him, the clothes that they brought for him to wear when he made public videos were more of the same.

It’s like those cowboy shows of the 1960s. They wore the same clothes all the time, so generic scenes could be used from past shows and no one would know the difference. The four Bonanza guys always wore the same stuff, likewise Paladin (my fave), Matt Dillon, Maverick, the Virginian.
This way you can never tell when something with trump in it has been filmed.
