The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making Part Deux (Part 1)

Yeah, when has Trump ever paid anyone on time?

If the Dems take the Senate and Presidency, there’s a much much better shot.

It is something like a basket of, hmm, what term would one use ?

In the ‘Bout Fuckin’ Time category:

I hate to say this out loud* but the voters may be growing weary, and thinking “Perhaps it’s time to give the other guys another shot.” According to fivethirtyeight, Democrats have an 82% chance of taking the White House and a 64% chance of taking the Senate.
From Nate’s lips to god’s ears… we would have at least 2 years of blessed relief, with just ranting and foaming from Sean Hannity to keep us amused.

[*turns around 3 times & spits]

The subtext is “vote for me if you want your stimulus, if I lose I’ll refuse to pass it and you’ll be screwed until January”.

The sub-subtext that he may not realize he is sending is, “Vote for me, and you may never see another stimulus again, in January or ever, because I don’t give a shit about you or anyone else.”

If Trump loses the election, the time between then and January 20th will probably be the most perilous time for the country since the Cuban missile crisis. Trump will have nothing to lose, and will be motivated by spite to leave his successor with a smoking ruin.

I wonder if Trump started taking active steps to destroy the nation whether the Republicans, or members of the cabinet would finally grow a spine to stop him or if they would they decide that the cost of admitting that they were wrong to follow him would be too much even then.

Perilous in no small part because Trump’s behavior might be so extreme that he may literally force the military, law enforcement, or whoever else to stop him by force and/or outright defy the orders of a president. The country could probably find a way to move on from that, but the ugly stain of that precedent would linger for a long time, and it would be more evidence that our democracy is being worn.

Constitutions can’t just function by themselves; they are only as strong as the people who agree to live by their rules.

Republicans:

Party before country
Family before Party
Individual before Family

Bottom line - they would do whatever would be best for themselves. Screw anyone else.

We need a new acronym: 'BFT. Must have the apostrophe.

Trump before anything else.

No mention of God whatsoever. Figures.

For some reason, this snippet of an ancient movie burbled up from the depths. Movie is The Groove Tube (1974), and shows Richard Belzer as The President, reassuring the America people:

The President Speaks

Prolly ‘cause it’s a great fuckin’ movie and that’s a funny fuckin’ scene.

After trump’s breaking off relief talks until after the election, and the resulting stock market plunge, I’m surprised no one in his party has taken him out yet. I would bet the Secret Service is on extra high alert to protect him from the people in his party.

They already tried. The Corona-virus infection was given to him by a Republican.

Et tu Miller?

While Rudy Giuliani is still claiming that he’s testing negative, he went in Fox News last night and he’s obviously sick.

You have got to be fucking kidding me:

I hope they will require that EVERYONE submit a negative test result before anyone steps one foot in that arena for the night. No ‘arriving too late.’ FFS.
