I’ve been saying it: They need to pull out of the fucking debates.
Biden and Harris are not running against a normal opponent; they are running against authoritarians. Biden isn’t running against Trump; he’s running against Putin. These guys are wolves.
His followers are already posting about it being Pelosi’s fault.
I can’t decide whether he’s just firing up his base, or whether he genuinely believes this threat will inspire other people to vote for him. Given his arrogance, I lean toward the threat.
I want to see the debate committee grow a spine.
And yes, I wouldn’t be one bit surprised if the plan is to try and infect the opponents in an attempt to take them down. And I’ve never been one to believe in stuff like that, but this is so bad, here I am thinking that.
Can infected people who don’t test positive yet spread it ?

Yes, but it’s sure better than nothing to insist on another negative test before going onstage. Per CDC:

I’m agreeing with you, just expanding on it that Pence could still kill people there even with a test.
Uninfected people can spread it by bearing virons, which have been shed by infected contacts, upon their person. It is a fair bit less transmissible that route, but it still could happen.
Yes! And if the committee is going to allow the lapdog to debate without any physical barriers, a test is the only other precaution there is. I’m sure not picturing him wearing a mask.

I saw on TV a bit more recently (about 2 hours ago), Pence has “reluctantly” agreed to having the plexiglass partitions. The stage has already been set up and they showed a picture of it. It seemed to me, those partitions looked altogether too small to be of any use. I’ll post a pic if I can find one in the next few minutes . . .

Yesterday, @Colibri assured us this couldn’t happen. Could he have been mistaken? 
He was probably infected immediately after a blood meal when his body temperature was temporarily higher.
