As a veteran of the climategate letter leak discussions, I can say in retrospect that the climate scientists letters leak was where the right found a way to turn personal opinions full of jargon into something that was not true. So it does not matter if the emails had nothing sensitive, faking the narrative with misleading edits or out of context lines is the MO of the right.
I’ve never had any of that stuff, but my dog was on prednisone for a while. It’s a much weaker steroid than dexamethasone, but at any rate, I never noticed any behavioral changes.
OTOH, my dog was intelligent, laid-back and friendly – the exact opposite of the Orange Imbecile. In fact, despite the species differences, I’m pretty sure my dog would score higher on a fairly matched IQ test, like how to get food from a high place using only the objects available in the testing room. We’re talking here about a dog that was adept at opening doors, at outwitting people trying to fool or trick him, etc. Whereas the Orange Imbecile has so far proven himself adept at … well, nothing, really.
And what about the report on Adlai Stevenson? THAT would make people vote for Trump.

I believe Speaker Pelosi is laying groundwork for DumpsterFire’s removal in case he tries to go martial law/armageddon/looney bin after the election and before transfer of power. The 25th option would move quicker than a repeat impeachment. With an agreement in place with a few of the saner republicans, he could be hustled out of authority without the show trial and histrionics.
Okay, we’d still get the histrionics but the social media IV drip he lives on would be severed.

Even if the Democrats put up a dog as presidential candidate, I think the main concern among Republicans would not be the dog’s credentials, it would be that Nancy Pelosi has a secret agenda to use the 25th to remove the dog to leave Kamala Harris in charge.

There was a time when I could find something on Google/YouTube pretty quickly but it’s all fucked up with ads and 100 videos that aren’t relevant now, so unfortunately no links this time. But take my word for it.

This upcoming Mussolini-style rally from the balcony with 2,000 invited guests seems to have the potential to be another superspreader event, at least among Republicans. Perhaps it will take out a couple of more GOP senators and stop this SC confirmation.
If I were Biden, I would ask the debate commission to cancel the next debate as well the moment this super spreader kicks off. There is no value in debating Trump in person. It’s clear that they are going to ride this Titanic to the bottom of the ocean, and anyone near them risks getting pulled into the undertow.
Can’t happen. The Repub senators are now refusing to be tested, because a positive test might force them to stay home.
It can happen if they get sick enough to be sent to the IC room. Fingers crossed.
