The Trump Administration: A Clusterfuck in the Making Part Deux (Part 1)

We’ve turned a corner” says a guy whose office is oval.

You’ll note he didn’t specify which corner has been turned.

Note the sudden change of expression on Loser Donald’s face when he hears Biden say the word “cocaine”.

Pavlov would be proud.

Jarvanka have their undies in a twist over a couple of Times Square billboards placed by the Lincoln Project:

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/522562-ivanka-trump-jared-kushers-lawyer-threatens-to-sue-lincoln-project

Attorneys for Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner threatened to sue The Lincoln Project, a prominent Republican group opposing the president, for billboards it put up in Times Square in Manhattan.

The attorneys in a letter to The Lincoln Project complained about one billboard showing Trump, a senior adviser to her father, smiling and gesturing next to figures showing over 33,000 New Yorkers and 221,000 Americans have died from the coronavirus. The lawyers also cited a billboard featuring Kushner, another senior White House adviser, next to body bags and an unrelated 2019 quote from before the pandemic in which he said New Yorkers would “suffer.”…

The opening one-word response:

Nuts!

(Bets on whether either of them have a clue about the significance of the word in this context?)

Daddy?

I’d take 5 to 1 with the Lincoln P people knowing. (And really think it’s closer to 20 to 1, but I’m a conservative gambler.)

I wouldn’t be surprised if Kushner knew. I’d be very surprised in Donnie knew.

Of course the Lincoln Project people know. I think the chance that anyone in the Trump family has the foggiest idea is close to zero.

TLDR version: General McAuliffe’s reply when asked to surrender Bastogne while surrounded by Germans at the Battle of the Bulge.

This looks like a good place to put a Daily Show piece, Donald J. Trump: The Greatest President in History of All Time.

I suspect it’s more in line with Anthony McAuliffe’s response to the Germans asking for his surrender during the Battle of the Bulge

I suspect Trump’s camp, like the Germans, will need help making a proper translation.

Ninja’d!

Somewhere I saw a graphic – from RCP, I think – where respondents were asked to rate the candidates based on what they considered the most important issue in the election. Most of the ratings favored Biden, but one struck me as odd.

For respondents who considered the Economy to be the most important issue, they favored CFSG by something like 84/16.

I mean, WTELF?? Are these people wallstreet brokers and high financiers? I consider the economy to be the fundament of the country (pun intended) and I think CFSG is catastrophic. What is wrong with people?

It may be an oval but he still has managed to paint himself into a corner…

Individual 1 seems to be ginning up a war between Egypt and Ethiopia.

No, in this case just stating the bleeding obvious. That dam is an existential threat to Egypt.

You mean, he is using code words that aren’t in their language?

Individual 1 says people are saying Mexico isn’t paying for the wall because the wall is finished.

I watched that 20 second clip and I have no idea what Trump said other than “they don’t know what to do”; everything else was just incomprehensible garbage.

Pence’s chief of staff tests positive.

And so has Pence advisor Marty Obst.

The Lincoln Project’s lawyer has responded to Jared and Ivanka’s threat to sue over the Times Square billboards. The response is every bit as gangsta as you would hope:

The NY Times is saying that 3 other VP staffers have also tested positive and that Mark Meadows tried to keep it all quiet. Pence, who surely has been exposed, is supposedly going to continue his campaign schedule. It wouldn’t surprise me if he announces tomorrow that he is positive, too.
