So where is Trump on the Cain timeline now?
Throughout this whole little epidemic of Covid in the White House since the super-spreader event in the Rose Garden, it seems to me there have been enough cases that we might have expected at least one of them to have gotten very severely ill, or worse – and yet, we haven’t seen that yet. So far.
Where’s the Voter Suppression thread when we need it? I know it’s around here somewhere. I’ll just mention this here:
News item today: Pro-Trump truckers somewhere in PA formed a caravan, driving round and round the block in front of a polling place where people were lined up for hours to vote, honking their horns and making so much noise that the voters in line couldn’t hear the poll workers trying to talk to them. They kept this up for hours.

Did anyne hear the rumor that Melania has been replaced by a double, a stand-in? Supposedly because FWOTUS is in the hosiptal (or dead) from Covid. Supposedly, you can see the differnces in her face structure.
Even if it isn’t true, it’s a fun rumor.
Is this to try to fool the public, or to fool Trump?
The latter seems much more plausible.

It is contributing to societal distrust of real sources of information.

It’s very simple. Anyone with half a brain realizes that the #1 issue facing America these days is the epidemic. The only people who think the economy is the #1 issue are those who swallowed Trumps BS that the whole thing is a hoax and going to go away any day now, i.e. Trump supporters.
Sacha Baron Cohen is saying that the woman who pretended to be Borat’s daughter in the Rudy incident was able to convince an OAN reporter into letting her into the White House press room without credentials, and without a covid test.
There are several people, some family, some co-workers who have the opinion that once this election is over, the pandemic will more or less just go away. That it was just overhyped to make the present administration look bad. Not only do they truly believe this, they are actually comforted by this “fact”, and that everything will get back to normal “once all this election BS is over”.
That is some serious wagging the dog there.
And, Trump is fueling that thinking. This was from one of his rallies yesterday, in North Carolina:
