I’m not so sure. Internal polling for Republicans is abysmal. They know they’re losing, and so does Barr. He may feel like getting fired just after the election is the best gift he could get. And he may be right.
I actually sympathize since I found Eve Plumb [same age as moi’] hot back then, but couldn’t resist. 
Well, yeah, he’s pretty much outlived his usefulness at this point. Putin knows how to read a poll and think critically. Trump voted out of office is of no use to him.
Do a Google image search for “Fake Melania”. There was someone besides Melania accompanying Trump and clearly intended to pass as the FLOTUS. Did they specifically say it was Melania? No. Teeth and jawline clearly do not match photos o Melania.

I think Trump was a disappointment to Vlad. He should’ve remembered that Trump isn’t a corrupt businessman, he’s a con artist. You can make quid pro quo deals with him all day long - but once he gets that quid you’re never going to see your quo.
I got a kick out of the indictment of his sleazebag friend and fundraiser Elliott Broidy. The guy raised tens, if not hundreds, of millions for Trump and IIRC, worked basically for free for a long time.
Then Trump is President, and Broidy is consulting on some shady-assed deal. He gets several millions of dollars in exchange for getting Trump to play ONE freaking round of golf with his client.
And Broidy couldn’t do it. Trump totally pawned him off on his staff, ghosted him, made vague promises then claimed not to remember. Another one bites the dust, I laughed and laughed.
