I think the point of the comparison was to show how haggard and drug-damaged he became in 4 years, but I can understand how when you look at him you see nothing but stupid.
The final couple seconds, there, as he’s “turning the corner”, priceless.

Since it’s made of wax, and they put it into a dumpster, surely they could have inserted a wick into the wax imitation orange marmoset thing on top of its head and lit it on fire. A literal dumpster fire with a giant orange wax candle would be quite a fitting sight.

I think you have to have a body part for that to work. Traditionally hair or nails or drops of blood. Pretty certain the Secret Service would have prevented the collection of any of that, particularly the blood.

I’m assuming that this must have been discussed somewhere on this site. But I can’t find any such discussion, so will post this here; I’m talking, of course, about the Melania Body Double update.
The BD conspiracy theory had rested on one, and only one, photograph of the supposed BD with a wide smile as she got out of an aircraft. And I agree with those who’ve said that photo is of the actual Melania and not a double.
But this new video—of Trump and a woman kissing repeatedly at one of his rallies—is actually rather convincing. It’s not just their behavior. It’s the face the woman turns to the camera…it does appear to be the face of someone other than Melania Trump:

I mean, it could be Melania…maybe she’s had a recent round of Botox, and that’s why it doesn’t look like her???
So, would it matter if Donald is trying to bamboozle people into thinking his wife likes him, by employing a double for her? In the scale of Trumpian outrages, this one probably can’t gain much prominence.
